BW/BW2 GTS website will be closed.

I'd imagine that the Gen IV GTS will only stop functioning once we have Generation VI, as Gen V currently needs Gen IV to get Zorua and Zoroark.

Also, did anybody even use this website?

to get zorua and zoroark u use the pokeshifter, not the gts. its like a palpark/time capsule but with ds games.

I'm pretty sure it's confirmed if the site owners and GameFreak wrote down that they're going to shut it down. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't lie to avoid some crappy lady in Kansas who cried over it to sue for ruining her life, trust me, that's happened before.

i found it quite useless actually. i cant post the site but the gts was full of hacks long trades and people offering bidoofs for deoxys

I think the GTS was a fail on pokemon, too many hacks and you dont even now who is giving you the certian pokemon.

what he said. just search online for a certain site with a similar name. i use that and you always get legit(unless stated) pokemon for viable trades.

The website is actually really cool. The layout and the whole trading thing is really cool to watch. But it seems like it has to go since Black & White is approaching.

Ditto. It didn't have any practical use, but then neither does the Trololo site.

I found the GTS to be pretty useful for filling up my dex, and for getting mons from other regions. All the Masuda method users are going to have a hard time finding suitable parents without it.

The GTS website was useless
1) it was 1 day late so all trade's would have ended
2)u couldn't get shiny's
3) they need a number ystem o that u can track a pokemon from your game. example:
magikarp level 1 wants: pikachu lv. 1 and up. GTS number:2356165

then u would type that number in on the game to find it
