I never saw a deck idea pop up with Toxapex GX during the last days? So i thought let me try it.
Pokémon: 15
2 Wobbuffet - GEN
3 Mareanie - SM
2 Toxapex GX - SM
2 Eevee - SM
2 Espeon GX - SM
2 Cosmog - SM
2 Lunala GX - SM
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 35
4 Max Elixir
4 Rare Candy
4 Switch
4 VS Seeker
4 Ultra Ball
2 Level Ball
1 Super rod
2 Altar of the Moon
2 Skyla
3 Sycamore
2 N
1 Delinquent
1 Lysandre
1 Fisherman
Energy: 10
11 Psychic energy
Strategy:
The main idea of the deck is to hit with the poison attack of Toxapex GX (100 damage between turns). But it needs 3 Psychic energy to do so. So to set it up, the ideal start is Wobbuffet as a buffer, or Eevee/Espeon GX and it confusion attack. Meanwhile we try to set up Lunala GX with Rare Candy and use Max Elixir to bring as much as possible psychic energy in the game.
First I had the normal Toxapex in the deck, but I quickly realised I actually never used it during a game.. So I switched it with Wobbuffet from Generations.
The amount of Switch is there to be able to switch to the right pokemon on the right time, when Alter of the Moon is not in the game. But i consider to bring one Toxapex back for one switch.
The GX Attack i will use, will depend on the game.. Clearing an opponent and make sure i'm safe for one turn with Toxapex GX can be handy.. But finishing the game with Espeon GX's attack to spread 100damage can finish a game when damage was already spread by Toxapex. On the other hand, the GX attack of Lunala GX can help to get rid of an annoying opponent. So many options
