Hey everyone! I don't normally post these reports, but I'll try my hand at it today.

My deck was a very teched out G-dos build with a Sableye donk engine in it, and it worked like magic.

Pre-Tourny:

I was scrambling around, trying to find anyone with the Unown from UD that I could borrow, as it was the only card I needed for the deck, seeing as I had the deck sitting around for months without touching it... Luckily, someone did, and I sat down after deck checks and playtested, donking a master five times in a row. It was awesome. :D

Round 1: Matthew (G-dos) vs. New Guy (Ho-oh Legend build)

I swept the floor with this guy. It literally went like this: He starts a Magmar to my Crobat G, attaches and hits for nothing, just discarding a random Supporter. I draw into a Gyarados, already having a Collector, Uxie, and BTS in my hand. I unload it all, drop the Uxie, and hit for 180 first turn. He was in awe.

1-0

Round 2: Matthew (G-dos) vs. Another New Guy (Random Sableye Deck?)

This guy knew about Sableye, so we both started with it, and I won the coin flip to go first. I had the donk, because I had the Collector in my hand. I drew into something random, a Poke-Turn I believe, and played the Collector. My Special Dark energy was there, along with the Unown UD, but neither Crobat was to be found. I searched for Azelf, and it, too was not there. I started to panic, thinking that I could get a G-dos set up, but only one of my Magikarps was in the deck. So I got the Sp Dark and a Uxie, hoping that I could empty out my hand enough that I could play the Uxie, use Set Up, and get the Expert Belt. I shuffled and looked in my hand, and saw my Azelf there. (FACE PALM!) I used Time Walk, and found both Crobats and three Magikarps in the prizes. I'm glad I didn't have to play that out! I dropped the Unown, grabbed the Sp Dark energy, and played down the Crobat for the game.

2-0

Round 3: Matthew (G-dos) vs. Gerald (Serperior/Semisage Tank)

Finally! A familiar face! I sat down, and we begin chatting about random stuff as we shuffle. I have the donk (again) except he has two Snivys out. I couldn't Seeker donk him, but I take the first prize with Sableye. He plays a Collector, and next turn I have a belted G-dos doing 110 to everything. Yay! I played a game that wasn't a donk!

3-0

Round 4: Matthew (G-dos) vs. Charlie (Luxchomp)

This is a very familiar deck to me... Unfortunately, I can't donk him, starting a lone Magikarp. He starts Sableye, and doesn't get the energy. On my first turn, I get a fully powered G-dos out and swinging. He answers with gusto and KO's with Luxray GL lvl X. I recover and KO back. Everything is going great, until I make a misplay of attaching a belt to the G-dos when I don't need to, and he takes his last two prizes because of that. GG, dude!

3-1

Round 5: Matthew (G-dos) vs. Jacob (Giratina)

This guy is awesome. I helped him build this deck, and I know it more than he does. He starts a Bouffalant to my Sableye. I grab two bats and the Unown, play them all, Uxie for six and get the belt and the Poke Turn. Another donk under my belt.

4-1

I end up being 4th, and the top cut is Top 4, so I barely made it in. Here was the standings before Top Cut:

1. Charlie with Luxchomp
2. William with Sableye/Honchkrow
3. Mitch with Infernape 4
4. Me with G-dos

Top Cut 1: Matthew (G-dos) vs. Charlie (Luxchomp)

Game 1:

I wanted revenge for my misplay earlier, and don't get it the first game, because he wins the coin flip for the double Sableye start, and donks me. :(

Game 2:

I start Sableye to his Garchomp and have the donk in my hand. Crobat G, Sp Dark, and Expert Belt.

Game 3:

I start Sableye again to his Bronzong G and Unown Q. I go through about half my deck in order to Seeker donk him, and barely manage it. On to Top Two!

5-1

Top Cut Game 2: Matthew (G-dos) vs. William (Sableye/Honchkrow)

As we shuffle and set up, I'm very nervous. I've never won anything before, and I really wanted the Victory Medal.

Game 1:

I don't start Sableye, and neither does he, so I go aggro G-dos, getting set up and plowing through everything he has. He can't do anything and scoops the first round.

Game 2:

Neither player has Sableye again, and he takes a different tactic this time, just sniping my bench and KO'ing stuff with Honchkrow G. I have a very slow setup this game, topping off at 50 damage in the beginning. I finally get two more Magikarps in the discard pile, and swing for 110. He tries to snipe my benched Uxie, but plays a Seeker while doing so, and I pick it up. He then tries to attack my benched Azelf. I draw, roll a heads on SSU, pick up the Azelf, play a Poke Turn to pick up my Crobat G, and play a Seeker to pick up my Regice. Now I have no bench for his attackers to snipe. I KO his Honchkrow, and all he has left is a Uxie and a Sableye. I have my non damaged belted G-dos active. He looks through his hand, says "I can't do that much damage..." and scoops.

Final Score: 6-1

I finally have a Victory Medal!!! I'm so happy about that. :)

5 donks?! That is impressive!! Congrats on winning your BR.

Nice mate :) LOL @ ur round 2 prizes!

Got to be the worst prizes you could have hahaha!

Lol someone needs to shuffle better. Anyway, good job! I had a mirror Sableye start myself at my BRs earlier and winning the coin flip saved me from getting donked. I set up like a pro on that turn too lol. That Sabledonk scooped later in the game.
