BW/BW2 Gym Leaders Visiting from other regions

Well, I think we'll be able to tell right away who from Hoenn will be seen in Isshu once we get all the town names and such. Sunyshore City was where Jasmine was, coinciding with her lighthouse hometown. Right now, it's up in the air and could be anyone. o_O

Well I dont think theres a lighthouse in Hoenn, but I just looked and I noticed something beside the 3 mountains to the west of the Isshu map. Theres what appears to be 3 buildings including the tower so maybe that small area is a town or the Battle Frontier, so maybe we might see Scott there or possibly Salon Maiden Anabel at the Isshu Battle Frontier.

I think it's already pretty clear that there will be RSE remakes. Just look at the similarities:

Isshu is revamping weather status and from what we know so far, probably making it of more significance in-battle and in the overworld as well. RSE introduced weather. So it is very likely that there will be remakes already from the info we know so far.

But let's not get too ahead of ourselves: BW isn't even released in Japan yet! o_O

Getting back to Wally, if he did appear in Isshu, I am sure he could be found at that "shrine", what with his whole theme of closeness to pokemon, serenity, finding oneself, and the like. It is questionable whether you could battle him, but it depends on how GF remakes his character in BW. If he has grown increasingly outgoing as it was shown in RSE, he might be determined enough to battle you. But, of course, that is highly unlikely, since the question arises for newcomers: "Who is this guy, why is he challenging me, and why are his pokemon so strong?!"

So GF would either have to make him un-battleable or lower his pokemon's level significantly, which would then sort of ruin it for the veterans who know who he is.

First of all Isshu is not about weather at all. It's got to do with light and dark or the sky, not weather.

Also i doubt wally will have anything to do in the game especially with "The shrine."
I personally think it's a vortex statue if you don't think so comment on my vortex thread.

um.... what?

I really hope they make some R/S/E remakes, and that could mean some gym leader appearances.

Considering the success of the remakes in the past, I wouldn't doubt it happening at all. (Of course you will have the nay sayers out there...) Especially with the upgrades in play quality we'll be seeing in Black and White. That way they can apply it to a remake the same way they applied the DPPt style to HGSS. (but with some differences.)

I'd like to see some Hoenn leaders visit. Would make sense too since we saw a Johto gym leader in DPPt and then HGSS came out. A Hoenn gym leader visiting Isshu would foreshadow an R/S remake.

I think cynthia or other champions will visit .That would be Epic

You can see Cynthia in HGSS when you do the Arceus event thing. Just in case anyone forgot that. :p

1. I said they were *revamping* the weather system, like how they reintroduced the day/night feature in DPPt.

2. Please, be my guest and take a look at the new battle screen. Oh, look! A weather indicator! That must mean they are improving how weather is dealt with, or at least getting rid of the constant, "rain continues to fall" message every turn.

3. I said it would be cool if Wally showed up, and so far, you haven't even spoken your thoughts on who might show up in Isshu. All you have done is say I am wrong without proper evidence and shamelessly advertised for your own thread.

In other news, I'll reiterate my point: I said it would be cool if Wally showed up in Isshu, not logical or likely.

I could see Winona somewhere like in the clouds (idk), since she liked being high in the trees.

dmaster out.

Well, think of it this way: was it ever actually explained exactly where the main character in Hoenn came from? No. It just touched upon that he had recently moved there. Now, there is obviously no chance that the RSE main character will show up there, but it is likely that his father might. Because who knows: they might have originally been from Isshu, and the father, being a gym leader, wanted to return to see his home region again.

Or, there is always the chance that we'll find someone like Wally there, or maybe even Scott. Although having Wally there would be a lot more fun IMO.

I thought I heard somewhere that the main character in RSE moved to Hoenn from Goldenrod...

EDIT: If you look at the bottom right corner of Isshu, you can see a small group of islands and on one of them some kind of building or object. If the island(s) turns out to be a small town, I could definitely see Brawly hanging out there due to the similartity to Dewford.

Actually according to the RSE arc of the manga Ruby aka Brendan is infact from Goldenrod City so your right on that point! We might actually see him instead of a Hoenn Gym Leader or Elite Four member.

That's only in the Manga, which is based off of the main characters. But only based, not actually them. So yes, the male protagonists' region of origin was never elaborated on.

sorry like 10 minutes after i posted it i forgot about the weather in the games i was thinking of the whole meaning of isshu + i don't think any gym leaders or the pokemon league people will show up but if they do i hope it's Aaron, drake, cynthia and probably walace.

In my opinion Drake is very logical due to his connections to being a sailor and the numerous bridges and harbor areas we see in Isshu. Just my thoughts though.

Woops i meant lance sorry that was stupid of me, seeing as i watched the episode with lance in hoenn about 3 days ago :) Yeah i also like drake too.

I think that makes sense, he could make a nice cameo similiar to Jasmine in DPt.

The fan inside of me wants Blue to make a cameo :3

It was clearly stated that they were from the Johto region.

Well I won't go to in depth but these are a few gymleaders/Elites/important characters I want to show up in BW.
(order is of no importance)
1.Wallace- It would be nice to see another Champion appear, and Wallace fits the bill. He would showcase the RSE remakes
2.Lt. Surge- Well he loves electric pokemon, and has a strong respect for the electric legendaries, i.e. Zapdos. Zekrom is an electric dragon so I see some potential story ideas here. Not to mention he lives in a town with a port. Easy access to Isshu.
2.5. Throw in Wattson here to with Lt. Surge, they could share their love for the electric type and share stories of their military adventures.
3.Winona-Hoenn gym leader, advertises RSE remakes, and could fit in well with the windmills.
4.Drake-Could see him appear because of his love for sailing. However that was brougt to notice more in the anime.
5.Karen- I dunno but I wish they would go into her stroy more. Seems like her character could have a bit more depth.
6.Wally-would be a nice addition, but only would want him if we could battle.
7.Roarck and Byron- Father and son duo, would be a nce double battle too. Could be searching for Isshu only fossils, or if it is in the game, exploring the Isshu underground.

This^

In addition to Drake, I'd love to see Winona visiting Isshuu. I say this mainly because she reminds me the most of Jasmine.
