When it says you have three votes, does that mean contestants have to use all three? And last time I think I might have accidentally voted while on my brother's account.

You can vote for up to three and it will be fine. Also, I think I saw that you voted with your own account last time when I checked the results before locking the poll. In any case, it isn't an issue now that the previous round is long since over with.

I sent reminders to those of you who haven't yet submitted a poem for this round of the contest. This round is still open for entries, so please sign up and submit a poem if you want to participate. It's still a contest with just six poems, but I'm still hoping more people participate.

Updated! Also, this is the final call for anyone who wants to submit a new entry or still has to submit one for this round. They'll still be accepted until tomorrow evening, but no later than 6:00PM Central Standard Time (if not even earlier).

Updated! I'm still going to accept new entries up until 6:00PM Central Time if anyone new wants to enter. Shortly afterwards I'll make a poll for this weekend. Also, I'm still waiting on Zorua's and Empoleafeon's submissions. If I don't get them by then, you're both disqualified from this round. Sorry...I left you both reminders via profile message...

The deadline for entries and submissions has passed! All entrants must vote for at least one entry to avoid being disqualified. Remember that you are not allowed to vote for your own, or you will lose a point.

The poll will close after noon tomorrow since I actually have a church thing I have to attend, and I may not be active a lot in the morning because of it. For those who still want (or need) to vote, you have until then to do so. Voting is open to the public as always.

Thank you to all who voted. In all honesty, I'm a bit surprised that my poem actually came in first this round, given that I only wrote it on a momentary thought.

Also, congratulations to Alvin SubClause and Zyflair for coming in a close second with four points apiece. Since darkpoet didn't vote like he was supposed to, Zorua takes third place by default with two points.

I guess so. But I feel a little awkward since I mostly just add my poems in as fillers on the off-chance that there aren't a lot of other people who enter.

I might just enter the next contest.
 
I usually close the poll around 12:00PM Central Time, or earlier if it seems like no one new is going to vote. In any case, the next round will start sometime either tonight or tomorrow (depending on when an S-Mod gives me an okay to begin it).
 
Really enjoyed reading your haiku, Apollo. Congratulations.

Hopefully, we will have more people vote in the next contest.
