Yeah, Syneptus. "Notices" is a three-syllable word, if I recall correctly. In any case, I already said that I'll accept poems that are somewhat close to the format so long as they tie-in to the theme somehow.

Oh, and you've probably gathered, but 4, 5, 12 and 13 are all wrong on the syllables. Is it that hard to count to five and seven? >_>

I'm tired of hearing complaints, so I'll be making this a haiku and short poem contest from here on out again. The focus will still be haiku-style poems, but I'll allow entries that are just over or under the prerequisite syllable count so long as they mimic the style.I mean, seriously, all haikus are just short poems meant to capture a moment, an image, or a feeling anyways...
