Is it just a coincidence that I get only one vote in this contest or what?

Serperior winning = major surprise/upset. Seriously, I didn't expect he'd garner that many votes, but his poem was great. (I wasn't even paying attention to the authors either when I voted!)

Now come out of the woodwork, why don't you, Serp? Congratulations!

I dunno, but the two poems that did get one vote here pertained specifically to Pokebeach anniversaries, and thus it may have offset the point of the theme. Although, yours did kinda drag on a little, so maybe that's why...?

Don't feel bad. I forgot about this until right before bed last night. :/
>write a poem with 5-minute deadline for contest
>somehow come in 2nd place

@Deus: No, I literally meant that I forgot that I had to close the poll yesterday until I was about to go to bed. Talk about embarassing.

Ah, I see.
Then again, we all forget things now and again (I do it all the time), so it's nothing to be embarrassed about.

Congratulations on the win, Serperior. Hopefully we'll have more participants next round.
