PokeBeach is holding an art contest in which members can create a Halloween-themed banner for the forums! The winner will receive a special forum prize to be announced when the banner goes up.

Artwork
1. The piece must be Pokemon and Halloween-themed.
2. The final submission must be 1280x200 pixels.
3. It must have a background (feel free to use photos like we do!).
4. Leave space on the left for the PokeBeach logo and do not put anything on the very bottom that would be covered-up by the forum links.
5. Feel free to use stock images (such as Ken Sugimori or game artwork), but realize original artwork will be most likely to win.

Contest
1. The best entry, as determined by a vote among the mods, will be used as the forum's banner for 1-3 days.
2. EVERY submission will be displayed here on the front page as long as considerable effort is put into the piece.
3. Stealing original artwork from any person on or outside the forum - plagiarism - will result in a ban.

Submissions
1. All entries are due by October 29th at midnight, PST. Please PM your submissions to [mod]CMP[/mod] with a link to the artwork. Do not compress it - save it as a PNG.
2. If you use Photoshop and have multiple layers, please submit your PSD instead.
3. If you use Gimp and have multiple layers, please submit your XCF instead.

*Edit* Can we add in the Pokebeach logo ourself, getting creative with it by maybe replacing the Pokeball "o" with a Pumpkin or making the text orange or something?
 
I would leave it out for now, I have to ask about that. I'll post here with an update if editing of the logo will be allowed.
 
You can edit the logo if you wish, but separate your edits into layers so we can apply it to our copy.

Just a slight question I would like ths shine light on: How much space should we leave for the PB logo? Or in other words, what are the dimensions going to be used for the PB banner?

Plus, we don't have to use Pokemon right?
 
Is it possible to get a copy of the PBeach logo with no background? So it can be edited easily?

It is halloween and Pokemon themed. If you don't include Pokemon, you will not win the contest and it will likely not end up on the front page since it didn't follow the contest rules.
 
I have a cool idea, but I don't know how to make a banner, so I'm not entering. :p

Yeah, this would be extremely helpful if we could get this.
PNG format is preferred.

EDIT:
@ Ice Arceus: That's not the same size, and the subscript isn't even there.
 
I know the size is different and the subscript isn't there, but that was the only one I could find.
