Halloween Banner Contest!

Send it in anyway, p99! Artists are usually the most critical of their own work, so why not send it in anyway?
 
I get the feeling that I'm being ignored. For the third time,
Am I allowed to use Paint.NET files if I've already make the banner?
 
I have most of mine done now just adding finishing touches and I have a nice idea for one. However it requires animation, nothing was said about being able to use it or not so I just figured I would ask before I did all the work for it and turns out I cannot use it. Thanks.

I would just save your PDN files as a PNG and submit them. :)

The rules say it must be a PNG file, therefore no animation can be used (PNGs do not support animation at this time).
 
Jesus, just got mine in. Almost days down the drain of mediocre artwork.
Hope to see something good on the front page this halloween!

Now that I am finishing it up, 1280x200 seems REALLY thin. But anyways, good luck to everyone.
 
Eh, sounds thin Zach -- but those are the dimensions of the current forum banner. Can't wait to see your entry!
 
It's technically 1280x201. But who cares about 1 pixel? :3 Yeah thanks for the answer SPM3, honestly I didn't even think of it because I was going to be submitting a .psd file anyway. XD

True! But the actual image is 1280x200 -- the extra pixel dimension is a straight line of color to act as a border of sorts. :p
