Has Nintendo Been Slacking on Quality?

1. The Pokemon company puts a lot of care and effort when printing their Japanese Gaia Volcano/Tidal Storm cards but puts in little to no effort when printing the Primal Clash counterparts.

For what it's worth, they are actually produced and printed by different companies.

This exactly. Pokémon Card Laboratories is the one responsible of both creating the cards and printing them in Japanese.

The Pokémon Company International it's simply the one that translates them into each of the other languages and prints them. Still, at a crappy quality. So interesting, because I have 2 cards from Phantom Forces (Joltik and Trick Coin) that are Reverse Holos, but the holo effect goes even into the card artwork because the paper layer is more thin than it should have been. :p

It doesn't matter if Jim Bob from Topeka, Kansas pulls the lever on the machine that prints the card, it is still Satoshi Tajiri and the creators of Pokemon who get the money for the product being sold and are therefore reliable for the product quality imo.

Maybe instead of spending so much time swimming in their gold pools filled with Benjamin's The Pokemon Company International heads of corp should spend some of it on gas and check out some of their warehouses...

Yes. They need to take inventory and go over their stock and check for all their errors and fix the problems. A lot of these companies a run by kids nowadays and by kids I mean people that are like ages 18-20 ish year olds that have not had the proper instruction on how to operated the computers for the company. You need to know Graphics and Robotics to work for a company like this. If you do not know how to do these things the quality of the cards will be bad until they get people that actually know how to do it properly.:)
