Has the New Rotation Been Confirmed?

I noticed lately a lot of talk about a XY-on format come rotation and I was wondering if XY-on has been officially confirmed at any point or if this is just the supposed format. For instance, is there any reason we wouldn't have,say, a Legendary Treasures-on Format? I understand people's logic behind assuming a XY-on format, but in my personal opinion, a Legendary Treasures-on format wouldn't be that Farfetch'd(yes, the misspell is intentional and no, I am not sorry). It would still cause the rotation of 4 sets(not unheard of) and still leave 11-12 sets in the format(counting the 3-4 that will inevitably come out next year). Just a thought.

No, it has not been confirmed. Many people are assuming it will be XY-on based on certain factors and hints, but no one knows for sure, or will know until it has been formally announced.

Y'all are imagining things. I wouldnt get so caught up into "This will get rotated out so I dont want to use it" "I'm making a deck for XY-On". Seriously, can you just wait and see? I would like for it to be LTR-On but until then, I'll just play with my cards since we aren't in a new format yet.
