RE: Heatran Lv.x, Blaziken PT + FB

Posted in the wrong forum. Please be more careful next time.

You now need to post what division you're in and what tournament this deck is for in your title.

*moving*

OMG I was totally going to make this deck! What if you played a Steelix that couldn't be affected by special conditions (yeah I know Steelix has x2 weakness to fire but what if they played Exploud?)

this is more of a question than a suggestion. but with both types of blaziken in your deck wouldnt that be considered 6 blaziken??

Allow me to explain.

He can run in combination of

4 Blaziken (which can include any Platinum, Great Encounters, Power Keepers versions of that card name "Blaziken"
and
4 Blaziken FB (which can include any normal Blaziken FB and Level X).
as well as
4 Blaziken ex (which can include any Blaziken ex from Team Magma/Team Aqua and Crystal Guardians).

They all may be the same species but named differently.

Heck, you can run
4 in combination of normal Lucario from any sets and the Level X.
4 Lucario GL from Rising Rivals
4 Lucario C from Supreme Victors

etc.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, your t/s/s line is looking a bit shoddy. No pokemon collector? Bebe's Search? or any way to recover your pokemon? and how you plan on getting Heatran lvX back to the bench? Also 2-3-2 Blaziken?

-1 Combusken
-2 Poke Blower (It's either 4 or none)
-2 Plus power
-2 Expert Belt
-1 Stark Mountain
-1 BTS
-2-1 Heatran lvX (you don't really need it, it's too much of a hassle to set up and once it's dragged foward you'll have a hard time retreating it)
-2 Premier Ball
-1 SP Radar
-1 Azelf (Isn't much of a risk of anything important being prized if you're playing multiples of everything)
(-16)

+3 Pokemon Collector
+3 Bebe's Search
+2 Pokemon Communication
+1 Palmer's Contribution
+2 Warp Point
+2 Professor Oak's New Theory (Hand reshuffle)
+1 Torchic PL
+1 Blaziken PL
+1 Unown Q (Allows you to bring Blaziken FB lvX back to your bench)

For the extra 4 spaces remaining you can add
+1 Chatot MD
+3 Pokemon Reversal (Allows you to drag anything and lock it with Clutch or just get easy KO's)

I am really surprised that you made this deck and you just started in tournament play. I love this deck strategy and I want to help you with this.
I agree on most of the changes X_Empoleon_X made, but for the Heatran going out is mostly crucial to this deck in my opinion. So for the Heatran, I know it's a pain that Heat ran has a retreat cost of four energy, but there are cards for that. For example, switch, warp point, warp energy, and etc... So I reccomend keeping the Heatran line and place in some switch or warp energy. Hope this helps.

- 2 PokeBlower
-2 Plus Power
+ 4 Level Max
I think this way you get out Heatran X and Blaziken FB easier.

hey thanks for the advice.

I recently re-did my t/s/s lines.

But I do really like the idea of No azelf. It makes sense. so i cut it out.

Hows it look?

I don't understand 2-3-2 Blaziken. Don't you mean 3-2-3? I'd also add some Crobat G and Poketurns in there....

thanks for the good words.

I really do want to fit in level maxes, but couldn't find room. maybe take out 2 premier balls? plus the Azelf and run 3 level maxes?

oh yes! I do mean 3-2-3!

-2 Premier Ball
-2 Expert Belt
-1 Interviewer's question
+4 Level Max
+1 SSU

Hope this helps.

Idk about only one exbelt as I don't run azelf.

Hows it look?

I saw this deck and just had to comment. I recently made my own "Blazideath" deck, and it's IMHO, just about the most powerful and consistant deck you can get, barring SP's, and archetype decks.
Anyways, I'd definately get rid of Heatran. It's far too clunky, and a pain in the rear to get retreated. Plus you don't want to blow a swith/warp point on that anyways. Here's my line, but try to make it your own.(My deck is DP-on, so it's now Unlimited)
4-2-4 Blaziken PL
2-2 Blaziken FB Lv. X
2-2 Claydol(Ninetales is fine here)
2 Uxie LA
Energy:
6 {R}
4{C}{C}
Strategy: Burn and use clutch to do 80 for a DCE. Plus if they fail burn check it becomes 100, plus if it has the E-Belt it becomes 120. For really pesky opponents you can do a maximum of 160 with Fire Spin, but Clutch is your main damage dealer here. You definately want MAXIMUM BLAZIKEN so you can Blaziken on T1 if lucky, and by having multiples of everything, it renders Azelf completely unnecessary. I find that I never even need him. Level Maxes are nice, but ultimately just take up space. Replace them with 4 Pokemon Reversals. This way, you can drag whatever pokemon out that you want and kill them off. It's just as flippy, only it gives you a chance for a KO. Drop 1 Bebe and up your Rare Candy's to 4. SSU is absolutely CRUCIAL to this deck and makes it a real pain. Definately add 4. If you have an injured Blaziken active, and it happens to have Combusken in the middle(as opposed to RC), you can scoop, and with the help of BTS, drop Torchic-Combusken-Blaziken-DCE-and maybe Expert Belt, and it's fully powered up again!
Here's a summary of what you should change:
-2 Poke Blower/2 Plus Power, + 4 Pokemon Reversal
-3 Premier Ball/1 Stark Mountain, + 4 Super Scoop Up
- 2 Expert Belt, + 2 Warp Point
Hope I've helped!

maybe you should add in some energy gains. the reason why is it will speed up your FBx a lot. Not sure what you should take out. hope this helps
