Woody just disproved that theory so it's illogical for you to suggest that theory again.
 
If you get 20 packs of cards you should get 1 ex card. I did that once and I only got 1 EX card.:)
 
That is like so not true man! I got 2 packs of cards and didn't get any ex's! just kidding, but its not true. if I get 20 packs of pokemon cards, I might not get any ex, cause they just randomly put the cards in. its luck+skill(sort of)
 
Skill? pfft, there's no skill in this. It's all luck. There's no "cheat" if you will to get an ex. It's all random, even though the odds are officially 1 ex per 12 packs.
 
They are as rare as star cards or at least almost anyway.:)

I need help cause I only have 5 ex cards :1.moltres ex(got lucky)
2.registeel ex(trade from a friend)
3.electrode ex(got lucky again)
4.rayquaza ex(promo)
5.tyranitar ex(promo)
 
I only have 4:
swampert ex cg-got from a pack
banette ex lm-traded from a friend
banette ex lm-traded from a friend
rocket's sneasel ex-traded from a friend
 
Booster Picking Tips?Let me tell you how...
1.When you get into the shop,be confident on yrself and think of the picture of the card in yr mind(the card must be in the series that you are going to buy.

2.Tell the shop keeper what series you want and tell him/her to take ALL the series tthat you choose's BOOSTER PACKS.

3.Take ALL the boosters and touch the boosters carefully each 1 by 1,then choose the ones that you feel are the heaviers and think about the card AGAIN.

4.Take the packs that you bought and DON"T OPEN THEM EMEDIATLY(wrong spelling)and take them back to yr house.

5.Open them 1 by 1 each SOFTLY AND HOPE FOR THE CARD THAT YOU THINK B4.

6.I was thinking for a Salamence EX DF,but i got a Latios EX DF instead,i only bought 2 packs!!!
 
I tried the thickness test the other day. I bought 4 boosters and made sure they were all quite thick. The thickness seemed to vary a lot. I got an ex in the thinest of the 4 packs.
If you get unlucky it can be tempting to buy more boosters. I wait until I get home so that I cannot go and buy more. Otherwise you could end up buying more boosters than you can afford.
 
Got 2 packs from a frend as a X-mas present, and got Latias ex d'! :D
And yes, i expected it. Yuo always get good things from friends..
 
I always follow my true love's name. Her 1st name has 5 letters and I always buy from the booster box. The booster box has 2 rows of boosters, right? I always follow the letters of her 1st name. I start from the top of the left row and count down to the bottom like this: a b C!! then I get booster c w/c is 3rd from the top of row 1. Then again from the top: A!! then I get booster a w/c is at the very top of row 1. Then again: a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q R!! If your counting passes row 1, start at the top of row 2 next. And if your counting passes row 2, start again at the top of row 1. Then again: a b c d e f g h i j k L!! Then i get booster L, where ever that is. Then lastly: A!! then i get booster a. This technique always gets me an ex in every pack!!! I simply think that she is the one.
