This is my first vector character thing that I redid in Illustrator from a notebook sketch. I need help with what to do with it. I was gonna fill it in with solid colors but did this sketchy fill in instead. I post on a gfx forum but they are douchebags that think they are amazing and everyone else is sh_t. Can anyone give some help?
 
I'd overlay a body texture, add color and freeshade/tint. It's hard with that kind of stuff though.
 
Could you give me some examples? I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Pritty good mate, id add some extra detail and maybe brighten up the red eyes abit ?
