Hello, im new around here

I just received a large amount of newer generation Pokémon cards from a relative which sparked some fun organization efforts. This led me to dipping into some of the cards i already owned and refueled my ambition to organize all my cards into binders.

The way i hope to do it is organize all my cards into binders that are separated by generation of card release (roughly) found here: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pokémon_Trading_Card_Game_expansions#Wizards_of_the_Coast_sets

What i did is then count up every card from generations and divide it by the amount a single pocket sleeve could hold (18). Here is a picture of my thoughts on a doc: pokemon.PNG

# sheets is the amount of pocket sleeves ill need to get every card in the binder. The (+#) are just regular page sleeves that ill use as a cover for each individual set.

So i guess after my long rant i hope someone can help me identify the correct binder i should use to ensure that i dont damage my cards in any way. I know ill need D-Ring but im not sure what size for each set. I hope to use double sided pocket sleeves if that changes anything.

Thanks in advance and if anybody has any questions then ill be happy to answer so i can get some help

I just started this very project. I grabbed some 1.5" binders from Staples (Better Binders are quite nice) which can hold about 100 card sheets (1800 cards) each. So i have:

Gens 1-2 in the first binder
Gen 3, 4, 5, 6 in their own binders
And Gens 7-9 split into two binders

I've done the math on sizes of each set and labeled each binder to maximize storage and comfort.

Promos are in the last binder as separate entirely.

Overall this plan has been working well on my quest to get every single card.

If you need the exact amount of cards, I can help too. I was just bored one day. Dont blame me. It was last updated five months before tef. I have friends everywhere, and I got the numbers early. I hope this helps image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Like I said, I was just bored one day and I didn’t even give it much thought. I had the dream of one day doing a master set of all the sets, and this helped me gauge how many binder protectors I would need. I
