Help with cards and sleeves (what to buy)

TO's here in Texas(or South Texas at least) have no problems with us using Dragon Shield sleeves, as long as they meet the sleeve standards.
 
I don't understand why they're so strict with rules on this stuff.. like your dice have to be rounded and transparent as well and I've never had that rule in any other TCG before, same with the sleeves. It's not like the prizes are THAT amazing for people to intricately cheat on this game lol
 
^True, but many older people want a good score so that they *may* have a chance getting a Worlds invite. I agree, four packs of cards and a Trainer card with a medal on it isn't the best of prizes, but it's almost every Pokemon player's dream to go to Worlds in the end.

@Azelf Master, that's really strict how you can't even use Dragon Shield. Do they only allow you to use the official Pokemon ones?
 
^I have so many Ultra Pro sleeves, but I'm never allowed to use them at tournaments because they're not solid on the back.
 
I bought 2 sets of black ultra pro..and apparently the 2 different sleeve packs of the SAME COLOR (black) are too different to be used..ironically enough I asked a different judge before I bought them if they would be ok...he said yes XD lol.

The Poer of Three: Here in Australia, just like your area we're allowed to use any kind (minus the old pokemon sleeves-the TAvs.MA/Kanto Birds ones).
minimidget94: I also use Dragonsheild, but the Purple ones.
Azelf Master (post#21): You might want to re-check with your TO....if they still say that you can't use them. I'd get in contact with TPCi about them.
mlouden03: That's what I found out the trouble using Ultra Pro, they sometimes don't match the same color (I used to use the Ruby one's on my YGO deck)...& now I stick with either Players Choice or Dragon Sheild.
 
LV, I never said we could only use the PR sleeves. We can use any sleeves(Dragon Shield, Ultra Pro, PR Sleeves(even penny sleeves if we have enough)), just as long as they all match.
 
My bad on the Ultra Pro, should've been more clear. I've got some that aren't a solid color; they've got an image on the back, which I've asked TDs about and unfortunately are not allowed.
