dont kid yourself. there are viruses. just the target audience is so tiny and that most ppl usually go for cheap PCs with Win OS that hackers like to go after them.

why make a program that'll hit a few, when you can make one that'll hit the world?
 
^To the above poster, there are NO Mac viruses in the wild. None have ever been reported, anyway. (Trojans, by definition, are not viruses).

Anyway, I assume you're doing school on it, and maybe some things with the website? Do you have a price-range? I would go with a Mac. It's a good investment, and I'm glad I spent the extra cash. Anyway, some more information would be nice.

There are, as far as I know, no viruses in the strictest sense of the word for Mac OS X, but there's some other malware, however, good luck getting any of those...
But then again, it's not impossible to not get malware on Windows either, there's just more of them out there.

The lack of viruses isn't the reason to move to Mac, though, that's just a fun extra.
