Okay, so my little brother was born with one kidney, so, if he gets sick, its BAD...
Now, hes at the hospital, because he has, H1N1, or the swine flu, so now hes in the hospital, as of this moment, Im babysitting my siblings while my bothers in the hospital...
advice anyone?

RE: Help...

hmm, dont worry, because the more you worry, if something bad does happen, then it will abosultely CRUSH you.

however, just have fun with your siblings. dont worry, im sure your little bro will be fine.

RE: Help...

First of all, let me say I'm very, very sorry :( I hope he gets better and soon

Second, here's my best advice: take a deep breath. Consider everything that is important in your life, including your brother, and be thankful for it. If you believe in him, pray to God for guidance and for your brother to get better. Make sure not to worry yourself over this, because if you worry, it'll be very difficult to wait to hear what happens. As r3skyline said, the more you worry, if the worse happens, you will be sadder than you are now.

So, deep breath, pray, and think positive. I hope everything is okay in the end :)

RE: Help...

Okay, I think Im okay now, we've been in and out of the hospital tons of times, and my mom just reassured me he'd be here tomorrow, I think this will all be good, but yah, this kinda sucks...

RE: Help...

Just pray for him to get better it calms you down, its what I do and it helped my mom when my dad got in the car accident years ago.

RE: Help...

From a medical standpoint, I would tell the Doctor than you do not want surgery. I read an article that showed that infants' casualty rates rise 20% when internal surgery is still in effect. As long as he as getting vitaminary suppliment, the best thing to to is hope and pray. (Or just hope if you're athiest)

RE: Help...

How are we supposed to give advice? I don't believe anyone on this forum is a qualified medical practitioner with the correct qualifications to make reccomendations on the situation. ;o

The only thing we can do is pat you on the back and say "It's all going to be okay".
