HG/SS Set.

Like the title says do you guys think they'll make a set based around HG/SS similar to when FR/LG came out they had EX FR/LG and add a whole bunch of johto pokemon to the game for the most part johto is lacking in the game I mean outside of the older cards there has been only 1 make of cards such as Feraligatr/Typhlosion/and Meganium and it was a long time ago back in Mysterious Treasures anyway your thoughts and comments are appreciated.
 
I really hope they do, would be cool!

I need a new Ho-Oh card, he's definitely in my
top 10 list of favorite Pokemon.
 
Of course they will. I'd expect it right around after AA.

We could really use some more Johto Pokemon, only Arceus knows...
 
pokechamp thats what I was thinking seeing as HG/SS JP will be released in the fall anyway any hopes for cards to be made or made into Lv.X's and SP pokemon.

Yeah, it's just about perfect time for them to make the set, if they do make it, which I will bet my last few dollars that they will.
 
I was actually thinking maybe the cat/Dog trio being reprints any maybe the johto starters evos being made in lv.X's
 
Johto starters being lv. X would be awesome they would really be in decks instead of being put aside by charizard and the likes.

Who knows what they will do? But, of course, I am here to provide some speculation...

Since EX-on video-game based sets, the starters are always made EX/LV.Xs. Therefore, your theory actually is quite viable.
 
I think we will probably see an HG/SS set around the same time HG/SS releases here in the states...which may not be until spring next year
 
Do you think of special holo treatment or just regular holo like in EX FR/LG they had the types in the holos type thing for anyone who doesn't know what I mean I am referring to this

na, I think they will probably keep to the foil scheme they are currently using now, they may do something special with the secret rares like the Rotom set, but as for the regular set stuff, nothing special
 
anyone think charzard will get an x in aa there still a x we don`t know

it really was, but the problems with the foils from those sets were that they peeled real bad and way too easily
 
really I still have mine there in great condition and I have them just thrown in my dresser.

@lucario-aura-wielder Scizor is a maybe as much as I love Politoed unlikely.
 
yea, I have quite a number of cards from those sets that have started to peel on the edges, that's why I haven't been so quick to add those to my trade list yet

I think if they did the poli line, they would have to make an X for toed and wrath...Kingdra I think is a good possibility though, Scizor is a maybe to me
 
I'll bet 1,000$ there will be starter Lv.Xs and Lugia & Ho-Oh Lv.Xs. Does anyone think they'll make secret rare Unowns again?
 
the unowns maybe but again unlikely I could see Shines though which ones I am not certain.
