HG/SS Set.

anyway even though it is unlikely for this set I'd like to see a Politoed Lv.X and a Tyranitar Lv.X I only say this because ppl are saying HG/SS sets could be released in blocks.
 
Delibird nah I could see that being a good Support type Lv.X something like powering up certain types or something with prize cards.
 
Pikachu M Lv. X is promo for the movie commemoration pack. Yes, it has Iron Tail and Volt Tackle (does 20 damage to itself). If you doubt, check bulbapedia.
 
Here are the level Xs I believe will show up are

Meganium (starter)
Typhlosion (starter)
Feraligatr (starter)
Ho-oh (version pokemon) (2 versions)
Lugia (version pokemon) (2 versions)
Kingdra (Poplar GS pokemon)
Steelix (was in UF)
Tyranitar (was in UF)
Blissey (was in UF)

On top of this I suspect 2 versions of normal Ho-oh and Lugia. A next to useless Rare one, and a usable holo one for both.

The shinys will be
Mareep
Dunsparce
Heracross

Remakes
Eevee (Discovery)
Espeon (Discovery)
Umbreon (Discovery)
 
Everything in this thread is speculation Starforce, don't take anything seriously. He (and no one else) has no idea what will be in this set.

Though a tyranitar lvX would be nice :]

anyway yeah Tyranitar would be sweet.
also an SP Tyraintar would be cool.
 
Yes any other cards you'd like to see besides Lv.X's and secret rares.

A new good Sneasel card is long overdue.
 
Tyranitar Lv.X and Kingdra Lv.X and would make the biggest impact in the meta because they're used more than Politoed or something. :F They'd have to be near-broken as well, but that's not hard. Tyranitar could spread for 40 on each or something, which would be amazing and Kingdra could do like 100 damage or something to clean up afterward not based on Energies in the discard pile.

Quilfish as a Lv.X would be interesting I could see it being similar to Gliscor Lv.X LA.
 
There is no doubt that there will be an HGSS set. Based on the recent announcement of the release of the games, I expect an HGSS set to be after Advent of Arceus...

Here is out the next few sets be released:

PotF: JP: March 2009 U.S: Aug. 2009
AA: JP: July 2009 U.S (without movie cards) Nov. 2009
HGSS set: JP: Oct. 2009 U.S: (with AA movie cards): Feb. 2010

Anyway, I'd say there is a 99.999999% chance of Meganium, Feraligatr, Typhlosion, Ho-oh, and Lugia LV. X. That's at least...a little short of the standard now. I'd then say we'd get another one or two Level Xs on popular GS Pokes. I personally think Umbreon and Espeon LV. X, but it could be something else.

After the HGSS set, we could even get another semi-HGSS based set, like TRR was to FRLG. This set could include Team Rocket cards again, and some other Level Xs of popular GS Pokemon.

That's how predict the TCG will play out in the near future.
