HGSS box ratios/Questions

The Alph Lithograph I saw at my PR wasn't holo. Is it supposed to be? Or is there both a holo and non-holo version?

Also, menoknow3 I just might want to steal your avatar...

EDIT: Nvm according to WPM it's "glossy." Which I guess doesn't look very holo.

They seem to have continued with the Arceus type of ratios.

Except in this case:

Primes = What the Arceus cards were.
Legend = What the Level X were
Secret Holos = Remain the same what Arceus secret holos were.

Personally I am not a big fan of this ratio.

You end up with 2 Ultra rares
9 (not so very rare) prime's in this case
And then the usual 1/50 - 1/80 chance for a secret holo

I far preferred the EX ratios.

Truth is the Pokemon Prime cards won't be very valuable as they will be so common as with the Arceus cards.

Legends are way more common than Lv.Xs were in Arceus. I've bought many Arceus packs never pulling a Lv.X but in my 3rd HGSS pack I pulled the top of Ho-Oh, and 2 or three other people at my table pulled legend halves when we had a box and a third.

That's just you being unlucky actually. To be fair they have almost the exact same ratios.

I know 5 people who opened Arceus booster boxes and they got between 2 and 3 lvl X's in the box.

I myself bought an Arceus booster box and got 3 LVL X, 10 Arceus and 1 Secret holo.

The average for the Arceus booster boxes were 8-10 Arceus, 2-3 LVL X and then 1 SH for every 2-3 Boxes.

People have said between 3-4 legend pieces making it almost the exact same as the D&P LVL X odds.

And just to add- I think maybe they worked the odds as getting a whole legend being equal to a LVL X, not just a piece. Making the equivelant odds- 4 to 6 legend pieces a box.
