Holofoil on a new card I got.

Uh,I have like 5 of these,and I know they're have been threads on this topic.But I have a card that is different most of those answers.

Okay,I have quite a few cards like this,with regular holofoil all over the card.Not reverse holo,but regular,all over the card.

But people keep saying that they haven't noticed it until the Secret Wonders set.

But yesterday,I received a Infernape from Diamond & Pearl,and it has holo all over the card.How long has people seen this?​
 
Secret wonders was the first set that it was really noticeable in. It's the Opaqueness of the ink that causes you to be able to see through to the foil. Recent print runs aren't opaque enough.
 
I don't think so....people began seeing this in SW,but I got a D & P Infernape with the same effect.
I'm just wondering if anyone's seen this happen before SW.​

Oh. Yea I have a few of those. It's just a printing error. Pretty neat actually. And to answer any further questions, I don't think they're worth anymore money than a reg. holo or rev. holo card would be.
 
I love those cards.

I know that they're not worth more,but I'm still wondering...

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY BEFORE SW THAT DOES THAT?!?!?!?​

:p It took me a minute to find it, I looked toward the left and saw nothing, figured the OP forgot the content. What's with the small text and centering lately?

Anywho, I just wanted to add in that the "error" is more along the lines of poor planning by the printers. While I'm sure that is what you mean, I don't want anyone to get their hopes up thinking they have a 1 in 1000000 card. :p
 
I seen a MT Blissey that had that, and a DP Dusknoir. But yeah, there's a lot more in SW (Particulary the legendary dogs it seems). It seems to have became less.

Empoleon Lv. X. Seriously, IMO, it is not a printing error. If it is, wouldn't they have fixed the problem? Possibly just a special treat to players and to add controversy :p.
 
vilebaseball-I have a lot of those cards and I know a lot of people who have tons of them.
Lou Cypher-Yeah so it seems...but it isn't with the card in general.
