Oh we know where the Pokemon are. The are in the locked 3 doors to the Power Plant XD. That is the most obvious place they would be XD.:)

If I'm honest I think Volcanion is the only one that has a realistic chance of being in the Power Plant. It fits its theme, and it's not a stretch to think it would be generating steam power or something.

Hoopa is far too different conceptually to fit in to a power plant. I'm pinning my guess that it will have something to do with the Chamber of Emptiness.
And Diancie is just some serial code giveaway :(

They could've made it catchable in Reflection Cave. ;~;

I think Hoopa is involved with the Lumiose ghost girl. The line she uses, "No, you're not the one" is from a movie called The Ring 3, in which a girl was looking for a psychic person. Hoopa has rings, and its a Ghost/Psychic type.

Doubtful (at least the pop culture reference part). Hoopa's rings are, well, actual rings, but wasn't the titular ring (at least in the original) actually the light shining through the well?

If you're going to bring up the Lumiose ghost girl, a better connection to Hoopa is that she uses the Hex Maniac sprite, a trainer class which uses both Psychic and Ghost-type Pokémon.

Regardless, I do wonder if either Strange Souvenir or the Lumiose ghost girl have any connection to Hoopa.

There were a lot of pop culture references in XY, though.
From Bulbapedia:
In Pokémon X and Y, after being defeated by the player, Preschooler Mia on Route 4 says "Hey! Hey! Listen!" before battle, referencing Navi from The Legend of Zelda series.
In Pokémon X and Y, an NPC in Lumiose City mentions the play Beauty and the Beast, with the titular Beast as a Pokémon.
In Pokémon X and Y, after being defeated by the player, Psychic Robert on Route 10 references the famous "over 9000" meme spawned from Dragon Ball Z, commenting "Wow. You and your Pokémon's power levels are amazing! They're over 9000 for sure!"
In Pokémon X and Y, a Team Flare Grunt found at the Poké Ball Factory says "Don't worry, be happy!", referring to Bobby McFerrin's song Don't Worry, Be Happy.
In Pokémon X and Y, while the ultimate weapon is present in Geosenge Town, a Team Flare Grunt in front of a house in the west of the town comments "Only Team Flare's stayin' alive, stayin' alive.", referencing the Bee Gees song Stayin' Alive.
In Pokémon X and Y, Veteran Timeo in Victory Road will say "my body is ready" before battling the player, a reference to the meme spawned from a statement made by Nintendo of America's President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime at the unveiling of the Wii Balance Board at E3 2007, "My body… my body is ready!"
In Pokémon X and Y, after being defeated by the player, Wikstrom will say "My will, which even shakes spears, trembles at so fine a battle as this!", referencing William Shakespeare.
In Pokémon X and Y, when playing the game in French, Swimmer Romy in Azure Bay sings a variation to R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" before the player battles her.
In Pokémon X and Y, in the Battle Maison, Waitress Catla makes reference to the lolcatz brand of memes with "Meow, meow, I can haz battle, meow? (Ugh, I really sound like a fool, don't I?)" before battle and "Meowww... I haz lost, meowww. (This job is sooo embarrassing.)" after being defeated.
In Pokémon X and Y, in the Battle Maison, Roller Skater Clio makes reference to So You Think You Can Dance?, saying "Man, I'm so speedy and smooth! I should be on So You Think You Can Skate!" after being defeated.
In Pokémon X and Y, the final chapter of The Looker Detective Agency is named "Here's lookin' at you, kid", a reference to Humphrey Bogart's quote in Casablanca.

I'm well aware. However, there's a huge difference between those relatively well-known quotes, titles, lines, and memes versus a throwaway line in a relatively obscure third installment of a B-list horror movie franchise. Coincidence? Yes. Connection? Hardly.

I've heard she says something similar in the Japanese version (though I've never confirmed this). If that's the case, though, I'd say it puts the final nail in the coffin in your theory, methinks.

There are 3 extra doors to the power plant that are locked so I think that is where they all are. I think the Chamber of Emptiness is for something else but I don't think that is where the 3 secret Pokemon are. Might be where Latias/Latios are though since that would be a great place for those Pokemon anyway.:)

I don't think it's that far fetched for the movie The Ring to have a reference in the game.

I love the design of the form change, but I wonder why it got a type change. Is this new form the "living" version, since it loses the Ghost-type. It might actually be "brought back to life" to unlock the stronger form.

Welp, this just threw all my theories out the window. xD
At least it's better than being a Mega Hoopa.

If it was from The Ring and it as a quote about, say, "seven days..." (a more well-known quote), I'd consider it, but it's a throwaway line in The Ring 3. Plus, the English pop culture references aren't present in other translations, and allegedly the Hex Maniac says something similar in all translations.

You may be on to something regarding the type change, though. I was thinking along those lines...or Hoopa forme's hyperspace hole being made up of a vast, black nothingness...or it being the "true form" and being more sinister. Either way, if you look at it from any of those standpoints, the Dark typing makes sense.

Since project pokemon Kinda released all the Mega infos, does that mean that their is no more mega in the game? That would kinda be a bit disappointing.

Taken down due to copyrights lol. But, is it just me or does it seem like Rayquaza's mega should be a form like with Hoopa too? One that acts and looks mega but isn't at all. I mean, Ray only needs Dragon Ascend to Mega Evolve, no mega stone, so...

Wow. I don't even know what Hoopa is, I just learned that this is a Pokemon.

I played Pokemon Y when it first came out but stopped playing shortly after the Elite 4. I didn't even know Diancie existed back then, but I do now of course since it's a card.
