Ruling How 2 get an ex or star?

  Pls tell me how to get an ex or star in a booster pack.
    Are there any techniques to get them?
  
   Because I have opened:

   1 Deoxys
   1 Unseen Forces
   2 Delta Species
   3 Legend Maker and
   9 Crystal Guardians.

   and none of them has an EX or a STAR!
  
    My friend has opened
  
   4 Unseen Forces
   4 Holon Phantoms and
   6 Crystal Guardians and found...... Groudon ex and Espeon ex!!!

   Pls help me!!

buy more cards. its all luck and nothing else. I had to buy a full box before i got my first ex.

I have about 5 Deoxys, 9 UF, 11 LM and no EX's from any of them. With all the cards that I got from the LM packs I can pretty much use all of them.

Find a place where they sell cards individually , here in the philippines they sell stars and exs for only $3-4 and rare holos for $1-2

mmmm, I get my ex's by skill. not luck. Also, Im not telling anyone how I get good cards in packs... even though I just told my friend who I bumped into in london drugs...the best way( other than my way) to get ex's or stars is to get boxes. Thats my advice.

I never got any of my ex's from boxes. all from packs. yes. there is a special way.

Getting ex's and *'s from packs is all about luck, but ex's weigh more than normal cards so you just need a pack that weigh's more than the others.

I opened my 2nd booster pack in about 5 years and I found a Rayquaza*... Its all luck!

I see... so there is no special way to get good cards...but there is a way that works 70% of the time. LOOK FOR THICKER PACKS> I GOT A GOOD EX IN THAT PACK>> ah, darn, I just told my secret... the reason it only works 70% of the time is because I opened a thick pack, and only got a lame charmander that is reverse holo.

There are no techniques for getting Ex's in packs, it's pure luck. In the first Ruby and Saphire pack I bought, I got Magmar Ex.

But somehow pressing the boosters might give u some clues on what card's inside. Hard = rare holo/ex. I even heard that 'super-soft' boosters have good cards too.

BTW, to get ex/*
