BW/BW2 How many Pokemon?

20 000. That will make completing your Pokedex a real big challenge.

Maybe 100. That would make sense, since that's what gen's additions were.
 
My guess is a total of 597 Pokemon. That would be 103 new Pokemon. I'm hoping most new ones are completely new (like in Gen 3, where the only ones related to others were Azurill and Wynaut).

BTW PokemonFreak44 and 42 chocolate, Gens 1 and 2 ended with 151 and 251 pokemon respectively, not 150 and 250.
 
I would like to end at 600, a simple number... But they will either cross the 600 line or even end up with less than 600...
 
I agree with Pokequaza. The 2nd gen and 4th gen were both smaller additions while the Hoenn region added more, so I'd guess around 120-140 new Pokémon, most unrelated to older 'mons.
 
I thought about this question a bit and came to the conclusion
that since Isshu is far away from the other region there will be practicly no evos prevos
of previous pokemon

The Pokemon don't end on a number like 150....so....

Generation I: 151 Pokemon (+151)
Generation II: 251 Pokemon (+100)
Generation III: 386 Pokemon (+135)
Generation IV: 493 Pokemon (+107)
Generation V: 643 Pokemon (+150)
650 Pokemon (+157)
596 Pokemon (+103)

Just some theories...
