How much do you spend on Pokemon cards?

2-3 Pre releases per Set
(whatever is won)
1 box
1 each of the blister promo packs
about 5-6 packs randomly because they tempt me in line at the store
and i like to open them in the parking lot before i drive off =\.
 
I like to keep it low too. But I've been on a huge Platinum binge since it came out. It's my desperation to pull a Dialga G Lv X!

I usually keep it down to 3-4 packs a week until i can find the tins, blister packs, or the Regigigas premium box
 
im not rich, but usually when i get money i'm really good at saving it and blowing it all on cards. I dont know if any of you guys have ever gotten "the speech" from your family and friends, the one that goes like: "haven't you ever though about how much money you waste on those cards (or other thing your insanly addicted to), if you would have saved all that money up you would be rich!". yeah, one day i actaully tried that and i was shocked at how much better stuff i was able to buy. i saved so much that in less than a year I was able to buy a 42 inch lcd, a ps3, a wii, a ds, 5 games, 5 blu-rays, extra ps3 controler, and now i'm thinking of getting a 50 inch plasma. every one is shocked becuase i have way better stuff than everyone else in the family who is older....oh, And i also bought a laptop (using it right now). now I try to buy as little cards as possible becuse i know now that i could get way better stuff.
 
Depending on how bad we need cards from a set my dad will buy like 2-4 boxes of that set. Once while we still played Naruto he bought 3 boxes and like 9 tins.
