Which version?

It's a normal one, not a 1st Ed, oh and it's in English. (In case you meant that)

Actually there are 4 different versions see http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/thread-index-of-guides-for-collectors?pid=2233071#pid2233071

Unlimited.

Btw, as I don't want to make more posts I will keep editing this one.

EDIT: Thanks a lot Patriot!

I still want to know about the Holo Foil Fighting Energy.

Aren't there 1st Edition non-shadowless cards as well? So that makes 5 versions...

Also, anyone else know why the non-SR versions of M Charizard X and Y have been selling for about the same as the SR's? I've even seen a few on eBay sell for $40+ lol.

It's worth $30-ish if NM/M. Congrats on the steal :)

Edit: Sorry, that's a bit out of my area of expertise :/

I've been wondering the same thing. I've been hoarding Mega 'Zard X because of its ridiculous price (that will only go up, I assume). Maybe it's because they're the first Mega Charizards ever printed? Who knows. People love their black dragons with blue flames I guess!

You're not a clone of me, right? Lol, I'm a huge Charizard fan (for personal reasons, and not just jumping on the Zard bandwaggon), and I've been hoarding Mega 'Zards like crazy too :)

Your guess on their price is probably correct, although personally I'd spend $40 on the SR Mega 'Zards instead of the non-SR... but only because they're supposed to be rarer haha.

Might be because there are a lot of parents that buy them for their kids and they don't know the difference :p I sold 2 japanese Mega-Charizard on Swedish ebay and got 30-35 dollars/each and both were parents that just wanted to make their kids happy :)

Right, I forgot that was a possibility too lol.

I'm not a huge Charizard fan myself, but I know that they're a good long-term investment, that's why I've been collecting them. :)

Okay, so I just pulled a bad-ass looking Heatran LV. X from a Stormfront booster pack. How rare of a find did I just get? It's basically in mint condition considering I pulled it straight from the pack and instantly put it into a top loader. What's the $ value on that card?

I'll probably keep it as it is awesome, and not to mention, really good for playing if you have the right deck, but if I were to sell it, how much?

I'm sure if you find someone that plays old decks, it could easily be worth that much to them, I'm just going off of what its general value is. :)

You're a smart person :)

OT: Anyone know what's a fair price for a NM/M Charizard*?

Base Set Zapdos

Um hello i have a question,

Okay so me and my Friend are agruing about a base set zapdos. And i was wondering when you look at it where would the shadow be on it, and how much would it be valued at?

RE: Base Set Zapdos

The shadow is behind the box with the picture. With the shadow it's worth around 4 dollars. Without the shadow it's worth around 15 dollars. Without the shadow and with the first edition stamp, it's worth around 34 dollars.

If anyone has old Charizard's most will always be $100.00 or more. That is a given because they were so popular. The Base Charizard I know will fetch $200.00+ easily and if it is 1st edition or edition 1 it will fetch $300.00+ easily.:)

You can see examples of the differences between shadowed and shadowless cards in our Base Set Card Guide, too. :) The first two cards (1st Edition and Shadowless) have no shadow, whereas the second two (Unlimited and 4th Print) show how the shadow looks.
