I expect the preorders to be at least around $40 if it keeps getting this hype (although I think what made mewtwo so expensive at the preorders wasn't just cause he's good but because it was the return of the ex's and everyone wanted some.... :/)

yes exactly (much like charizard) not to mention the artwork is just legendary compared to the NV FA's we've had :/

Hey guys, Just got my base set shadowless Venusaur graded and it got a psa GEM MT 10!
would anyone know how much this is worth?
I don't plan on selling it, but I know PSA 10's are hard to come by for base set cards.

I've just had it for years and always kept it mint in a sleeve and top loader, then decided to see what it would get graded.
it's not a 1st ed, but its a shadowless so it's still pretty hard to find

The PSA 10 Shadowless Venusaur is a nice card but the value of $300 you were quoted is too high. A PSA 10 Shadowless Venusaur sold on Ebay last week for $175. Value currently is between $150 and $175,,...

Yeah I saw that too, Still pretty high though. Although I've seen regular base set shadowless (non 1st ed) holo's PSA 10 such as Raichu, Mewtwo, Nidoking etc go up for $200-$300 ? Not sure why this is? Either way thanks for the info guys! It's a nice piece for the collection for sure!
