What could of been the Original Pokemon Movie:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuHS6Qk4y04&NR=1

The Original Pokemon Anime Series was originally intended to finish in a half-year season with Ash becoming the Champion of the Indigo League following the original plot of the games Red/Blue/Yellow or in Japan as Red/Green.

"Pokemon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back" was originally created to be a sort of final ending to the series as it can be seen here it was different from the actual canon-version. The Trailer shown above is what was supposed to be the original ending to the Anime franchise.

Evidently it takes place in the future where Misty is an adult and a child that is supposedly Ash/Misty's daughter. Ash however isn't present probably following his destiny as a champion of the league in distant lands, leaving Misty, his Pikachu, and his daughter alone looking at the sky.

Due to the success of the franchise after Gold/Silver, it wasn't over in this manner unfortunately so it must be seen as a "Non-Canon Original Ending". What the real ending for the series will be only time will tell...

Well I'm glad Pokemon didn't end that way. I think it would make it boring. Cause for 1. We would all know that Ash actually did end up with Misty and that would leave no wondering and boring plots for AMV makers. ='( 2. There would be no new Pokemon. 3. No contests 4. If it ended there then a bunch of awesome characters would have never been shown 5. The games would have probably ended. So I'm definitely glad Pokemon didn't end. =D

It would be awesome if this was released, and then they had the main anime character be the one in the VG, because Ash stinks now.

To be honest the franchise was much better off without contests and it was only good in Hoenn, I'm glad they got rid of it in Isshu for the 5th Generation. Iris is much better off as a Gym Leader than some girl like Dawn whose mainly into contests instead of hardcore battling.

You mean Red instead of Ash right? It's a shame Nintendo never did the series like they did with Digimon where they kept changing the main cast every season.

It only took awhile for most of us to realize that the Anime was more of a marketing gimmick than a series with continuity, recurring characters, and a good consistent storyline to back it up.

This seems to be the opposet of the final version of the first Digimon movie.

In the Digimon Movie, a Greymon fights a Parrotmon, but said Greymon, and said Parrotmon return to the Digital world BEFORE the first series starts. It acted as a pilot to Digimon Adventure (To be accurate, 4 years before the first series of Digimon.)

In the trailer for the Mewtwo movie, it was MENT to END the Pokemon series, not the other way around.

Imagine if the movie was made.

Considering that the 5th Generation already started, it will be a LONG time before the anime ends, let alone start the 6th Generation....

I seriously didn't know that Pokemon was intended to end this way. I am just glad that the series didn't end at all and is still airing. That would've meant no more Pokemon movies, no more Pokebeach, and we would've have gotten to meet the new Pokemon as well.

Incase you're wondering the link at the start of this thread won't work due to YouTube deleting it because of copyright infringement. They keep terminating accounts just to be douchebags and it's one of the things I hate about YouTube.

I hate to admit this but the Pokemon Anime probably would've been better If they kept Gary Oak as Ash's Rival instead of replacing him with a new rival throughout each season. Only problem is that most of Ash's other rivals except for Barry and that red haired guy from Hoenn are emo's (Paul and Shooti I'm looking at you!).

Yeah I clicked the link and it didn't work due to copyright infringement laws, though I really wanted to see it. Oh well, just glad that the series didn't end up ending and Pokemon is still airing.

Butthead lawyers ruin EVERYTHING!!!!! Youtube used to be peaceful until the dreaded Viacom lawsuit destroyed it, now Nintendo has become the new Viacom and is removing videos of Pokemon because they apparently hate the fanbase....

it would really be awesome if ash got married to misty.
and the best female character(accompanying ash) here in the whole series goes to may. where as the best female trainer goes to CYNTHIA!!

Please don't revive threads older than 2 weeks. Thanks!
