How to acquire female?

Playing Pokemon is already a chick repellent. It's like expecting to find a girl in male basketball.
I picked up my girlfriend playing Pokemon. So it worked for me. All you gotta do is act confident no matter who you are, just act confident or fake it. It'll work.
All you have to do is be yourself and get to know her do things shes interested in.talk to her.Playing pokemon isnt chick repellent i think that guys who play pokemon are hot and its totally cool.but thats just me.it shows that they have a soft,sweet,geeky,nerd side.its better than guys who talk sports all the time.trust me.

This. I don't really have girlfriend (cause I like this other girl) but when I'm at leagues or at school, I usually act confident and act myself, and get flirted with by girls a lot, like a lot a lot. You just have to be nice, confident, and don't act too interested. And if she starts talking to you and you guys start hanging out regularly, don't poor your entire life into a conversation and tell her all about yourself and your past. Always keep a somewhat mysterious side (until you're going out). These rules are what I usually follow, and they generally work (at least, for 12-15 year old girls in Los Angeles).Sleeping Snorlax said:

I was lured in by the thread title; I am ashamed of myself.
Although if I had to say anything...? There isn't anything wrong with being yourself. You probably want to look for a girl who will like you despite your interests - even if she isn't necessarily into them herself. It just shows you found someone willing to look past your flaws.
But there is no surefire way to do it, so there is no best way to get a girlfriend. The ideal way is probably a tiny bit of each answer given...

All depends on the individual. I mean if you're concerned about your appearance, spend some extra cash, hit a gym, pick up a new hobby like martial arts, biking, kickboxing... etc... then when you're all pimped out, head to your local bar (or some other chance you get if you're underaged and still in school) or show off that new 6-pack at the beach, son!
Of course even if you are sexy, if you're a bore, they won't last long. How to get past that? Like I said all on the individual... it could be something easy and you two just click. Or you could try hard to make her laugh and she's not amused. That's a red flag right there, you either get out of the oven or stick it to the end and try to do your best. I personally would run and find someone else in that situation.

Well maybe if guys stopped treating them like aliens...like you need to outdo yourself.

No special rituals or ceremonies needed.

I thought this thread would go the same way that it did on that other forum, but, I'm surprised. Not sure it trolled, but I'll bite.
As an adult, I shall tell you the simple truth about women: they know what they want and will get it. If you have something they like such as confidence, they'll be interested in you. If you have some other quality about you then they might be attracted to that. Women are mysterious. Confidence, good looks, success, and being decent are not automatic qualifiers to make girls get all up onz. For proof of this look around your town and see couples. Hipsters are the perfect example. What does a hipster offer women that you don't? Nothing -and that's what they're after. Some would say that women don't know what they want; they do, they just can't accept that they'd have to settle for something that isn't their perfect idea of a man or relationship. Men are the same about women sometimes, too.
