How To Counter VileGar

Hi guys, I need your help.
I play a SP deck, and in my area there are a lot of VileGar decks. To counter them, I tried Dialga, Honchkrow SV and Ditto, but they were all useless:
Dialga -> 2 cost of retreats, power of Gengar LvX
Honchkrow SV -> 2 energies, and it go KO with 2 Shadow Room or with a Poltergeist. Or with Fainting Spell.
Ditto -> just a little tech, with trainers in hand it's useless.

I thought about Regice LA for discarding trainer cards, so Ditto never go KO, but I hate good starts and my deck is very fast. And I - obviously - don't play Warp Energy here.

I also thought about Shedinja SV, but I don't like very much it.. the same for Umbreon UD. My goal is to counter Machamp, Gyarados and VileGar using less slots as possible.

Can you suggest me something good to counter Gengar? Without hurts in consistence.

Blaziken FB, luring flame it.
Drifblim FB, Its attack make weakness be affective on the bench, 2HKOing Vileplume. Good body too.

Power Spray to stop Level Down when they use it to send back Dialga?

Also, Luxray Lv.X and Uxie Lv.X to OHKO a brought up Vileplume.

dmaster out.

@glaceon -> the problem is that I don't have Blaziken, and with Rescue Energy and Seeker to hurt Vileplume is useless. Mt goal is to K.O. Gengar ASAP, with less tech as possible.
@dmaster -> unfortunately I don't have Uxie LvX, but maybe someone can give me one. I don't have everytime Power Spray, however Dialga isn't good against other decks.. I play a very fast deck, and with too many techs my consistence hurts.

It would be much better if you tel us what deck you play....

He said it's an SP deck.
You can GET Blaziken FB. Only takes 2 cards, and much cheaper than Uxie Lv.X. Probably would work best, so long as you just keep bringing Vileplume up and KOing it, and getting prizes from that while ignoring his Gengar.

The best way to beat Vilegar is just to practice. With SP, you can usually get Vilegar to pretty favourable once you know what to do in the right situations.

Uhm scizor i was asking about the energies he already runs..so that we can try and make sure it doesnt become very inconsistant...

Blaziken is the best known tech out so far, but what I like to do to counter is use something simple......like Zangoose PL, something pretty nice but not necessary a lvup setup

But since you've got Luxchomp, then I see no problem in using Blaziken

Now Blaziken isn't as good as some months ago. Now they use Rescue Energy on their Vileplume, and knock out the Ploom is becoming useless. My goal is to knock out fast their Gengar, the only way I can win.

If your running luxchomp and have issue's taking out vilegar idk what to say, adding in a tech is just going to hurt your deck, so instead why not run a black belt, can't be trainer locked and and does a good 120 or something like that. The best way to counter something is to out play something. cya

The counter depends on the deck.

Drifblim FB turns into a 120 HP tank, dishes out 40-80 damage on benched pokemon. 2HKOing Uxies, Uxie X's, and Vileplumes.

You can counter VileGar by not running trainers using Blazkin X. Thats the best stuff I've got, and I completely agree with th earlier posts about it. seriously, run it. It doesn't hrt your deck it yu run SP which you do.

Pokemon Contest Hall, so you can grab your SP Pokemon from your deck with the Energy Gain already attached. From there just drag and snipe as usual.

If you have PONT in your SP deck, change them to Looker's Investigation so you can shuffle all the Trainers back and draw 0 to 5 cards, forcing your opponent to use Shadow Room instead which gives you more time to get prizes. You can also use Looker's to disrupt Gyarados match-ups after their Sableye impersonates a Collector.

You could try teching in Absol G and Absol Gx. He hits for weakness and he OHKO if you have Lucario GL out. Sending up to 3 cards to the lost zone is just a nice little bit of icing.
