^Still doesn't answer my question. Do I have to constantly hatch to get the Shiny (I know that it's determined when picked up). Or can I save it, turn it off and still get my shiny?

You have just lied. You are now in comtept of the court.
*chain sound*
Two Shiny's breeding does not in anyway affect the breeding odds. It's still the exact same odds.
There's actually one more method you forgot. It's called "lucking out".To my knowledge, since there is no PokeRadar in Diamond and Pearl, the only ways to get Shiny pokemon are through RNG abuse, or the masuada method.

Gengar_is_Pwnage said:Okay. I'm trying to get a shiny Snorlax. What I'm asking is this:
Do I constantly have to keep hatching with the game on to get it (I know that it's determined when picked up). OR. Can I just hatch like 10 eggs, save my game and turn it off, and say the next day hatch ten more and so on. and still get the shiny?
