RE: Hydreigon Darkrai Deck for new meta (BW-on) - nothing special

You don't need the Dark Hydreigon, plus 2 of the Dragon ones is not enough, running just 2 your consistency is down and people will target it so having only 2 makes it harder to get out another one. I would suggest dropping the Dark one for a 3rd Dragon one.

You don't need 2 Zweilous, 1 is enough. This leaves you 1 extra space to either tech with or boost consistency.

I prefer having 2 of the Dark Deino and 1 Dragon one so you have more targets to Dark Patch to early game.

Your input is great.

In my build of the deck i have no dragon Deinos because of the 60 hp and the possible one shot from Rayquaza. I prefer to run a 4-2-4 line of Energy Moving Hydreigon and only 2 Darkrai EX. I have 2 Zweilous in this list because it can one shot any other none ex dragon for 3 energy. The Dark Hydreigon aids the Darkrai in bench hitting and is a good counter against Garchomp. I've been playing with the dark Hydreigon and it has helped in really tight spots.

Zweilous (DE)

{C}{C}
Crunch 30
Flip a coin. If heads, discard an Energy attached to the Defending Pokémon.

{P}{D}{D}
Dragon Claw 80

I only posted this deck list to give other people ideas. Thanks for the input it will help others build a better deck.

Updated List

RE: Hydreigon Darkrai Deck for new meta (BW-on) (UPDATED)

How have theMewtwos worked so far? I thought about adding mewtwo to my list but wasn't sure how usefull they would be.

Mewtwos work perfect in the deck because they are able to take prizes and or stall out. Max Potion helps them out a lot and the Hydregion moves all the energy. It is a card that is a must in this deck. All my builds of decks are based on attacking so i do not use the Sableye because they cannot attack anything. This deck is good but slow one cannot wast a turn returning items to there hand. I replaced the Sableyes with the Mewtwos. This deck works great because it has EX Pokemon and abuses Hydregion's ability. The more high hp Pokemon in this deck the better because of Max Potion and the energy moving ability of Hydregion.

"It's a must"
loooooooooooool
The second list looks a lot better.
Only a few things I'd fix in that one.

You go play in Nats. I'd like to see you do well out of 324 people. Go ahead, give it a go.
1) It's worst against ZekEels. Easy KOs, and they will win the Mewtwo war.
2) Killed (sometimes) by Sigilyph.
3) Bad starter

Don't run 4 Deino or 2 Zweilous either. 3-1-3 is a good Hydreigon line.
What events did you go to last year?
What country do you live in?
You also forgot Sableye lolololol

RE: Hydreigon Darkrai Deck for new meta (BW-on) (UPDATED)

Reasons:
First off-Mewtwo is not that great, the possibility of losing a lot of your energy because someone OHKO'ed your Mewtwo is not that appealing to me
Secondly- Sableye is AMAZING in this deck consistency wise. And Sableye and Sableye is usually the main cause for me getting my Heidreigons out
And last but not least: I tested both lists, the second one worked better.

Can't argue with that? I been playing the last build and it has been doing better for me then the prior. We definitely play different.

Thanks for the great input.

Thanks for telling me the reasons for not running mewtwo ex and for all the other inputs. I was looking for your reasons and not your opinion.

It is impressive you made 27 for the 2012 nationals, didn't type it wasn't.

Last large event i went to was California States. I could not make it out to Nationals this year. I was also unable to make it to worlds this year.

United States and i play in California.

I have my reasons for not running the Sableye which i stated in an earlier post.

Thanks for getting back to me with your reasons.

Shaymin EX is a bad card and shouldn't be used. There are better options in place of him as he doesn't really win you any game that you weren't already winning, and starting with him means you have no way of getting him off of your bench until it's KO'ed.

-1 Shaymin EX (Pretty useless in THIS deck)
-1 Mewtwo EX (Sadly you will probably lose the Mewtwo war, plus if you start with one you're kind of screwed, but hey it could help a lot, so I'd say 1 is enough)

+1 Sigilyph (EX couter)
+1 Tool Scrapper (Garbodor murders Hydreigon's and Darkrai EX's abilities)

There's my two cents, but nice deck.

Your right Shaymin EX is a risky card, but to me well worth it's risks.

Shaymin EX is an optional tech and should be put in a build if the person who is running the build is comfortable with the card. Its just another option, I personally enjoy having it in the deck as a tech. It has helped me win many close matches. I understand if people don't want to run it. To me the card is a great tech in this deck.

I agree with the Mewtwo EX -1 for a tool scrapper. But i disagree with the taking out the Shaymin EX. Shaymin EX has helped me win many games especially in a mirrored match. It's a risky card but well worth it's risks.

All these cards are situational and very useful.
Sigilyph
Shaymin EX
Mewtwo EX

Thanks for the input, good advice.
