Pokemon:

  • 3 Deino (Phantom Forces)
    2 Zweillous (Phantom Forces)
    3 Hydreigon (Phantom Forces)
    2 Yveltal EX
    2 Mewtwo EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:

  • 3 Rare Candy
    3 Muscle Band
    2 Pokemon Center Lady
    2 Xerosic
    3 Hard Charm
    2 Vs Seeker
    2 Professor Sycamore
    2 Head Ringer
    2 Jamming Net
    2 Colress
    3 Lysandre
    2 Shadow Circle
Energy:

  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
    7 Psychic Energy
    9 Darkness Energy

Strategy: The strategy for this one I think is very unique. I want to use Hydreigon's ability so that way if an opponent uses N on me and I have Dark energy in my hand, I can use it's ability to get Dark energy out and power up either my Yveltal EX or my Mewtwo EX. I put in Shadow Circle so that way there will be no weakness to Fighting types or Lightning types (which is weak to Dark) and Fairy types (which is weak to Dragon types).

But I'm a little bit concerned about not putting in a Sparkling Robe, just in case i get hit with LaserBank. Any advice or suggestions would be most helpful... Thanks a bunch!!!

RE: Hydreigon/Yveltal EX/Mewtwo EX

Hmmm.... you have only 4 draw cards in this deck; you might want to address this issue first and revise your deck first.

RE: Hydreigon/Yveltal EX/Mewtwo EX

TuxedoBlack is right. Lists that consistently do what they are designed to do play somewhere around 12 draw Supporters, and only about 12 Energy cards. I'll suggest changes that take out some of the more gimmicky / situational stuff in exchange for consistency.

-1 Hydreigon PHF
-3 Hard Charm
-2 Pokemon Center Lady
-1 Xerosic
-1 Lysandre
-4 Psychic Energy
-4 Double Colorless Energy

+2 Hydreigon LTR; This guy lets you move your Darkness Energy around the field. Very nice, especially with Energy acceleration within the same evolution line. You can make plays to conserve your Energy on the field, potentially abuse Max Potion, and you can even move all of your Energy onto Yveltal to close the game.
+1 Deino
+1 Yveltal XY; Accelerates Darkness Energy from the discard with its attack. It's an excellent starter Pokemon for Darkness decks.
+4 N; Consistency
+3 Skyla; Grabs those Rare Candy / Ultra Ball to get Hydreigon set up.
+2 Sycamore; Consistency
+3 Ultra Ball; Pokemon search.

There are probably some other changes you could make, but this addresses your current lack of consistency. Hope this helps!

Yes it does Mora, thank you so much as well as TuxedoBlack, I will be putting your suggestions to work and change the entire deck around... still learning about deckbuilding, and this is a great place to learn!!!!

RE: Hydreigon/Yveltal EX/Mewtwo EX

Another suggestion is, since you're playing a Pokemon that allows darkness energies to moved around, a single copy of Darkrai EX. Darkrai EX allows free retreat for anything that has any darkness energy attached to it. You'll also need Surprise Megaphone to make sure your deck doesn't fall to Garbodor DRX's Garbotoxin. I also notice that there is no ACE SPEC card. I suggest Dowsing Machine, a versatile card that can be played in many decks and is perfect for those decks with Stage 2 Pokemon lines. So...

-1 Hard Charm
-2 Jamming Net
+1 Darkrai EX
+1 Dowsing Machine
+1 Surprise Megaphone

Hope this helps,

Thanks, I'm tweeking it now... I hope this works, i keep getting beat... ugh, frustrating but i'll know that i'll get the hang of this deck!

Sweet! Good luck on your next matches. And hey, don't get discouraged. We're all constantly improving at this game and a beginner can only get better. You'll definitely get the hang of this deck, given enough time. Again, good luck!

Also remember that deck building is an art, not a science too. Play-test different combinations of cards till you find the right mix for you. And don't worry if it takes a few hundred games (not kidding) till you get it "right."
