I want everyone's opinion: Is Mewtwo EX overrated? Is it becoming over used? What can stop Mewtwo besides another Mewtwo?

Kind of a tough question. Is it overhyped? Probably. Is is flipping the meta upside-down? Not really. But will everyone need to prepare for it? Definitely.
Is it becoming over used?
There aren't too many decks based totally around it, except Celebi, Gardevoir (if that ever works), and kind of Zekrom. But almost every deck runs 1 or 2, unless they run a really solid counter.
What can stop Mewtwo besides another Mewtwo?
Cobalion NV, Scizor Prime, Weezing, Mew Prime, Reshiram/Zekrom EX + Rocky Helmet, Lost Remover, etc. Some are better than others, some depend on the deck you're using.

A. Totally, totally over rated. Price is too high, but will drop a lot after states.
Q. Is it becoming over used?
A. Not really. It hasn't changed the format, except for eliminating most slow decks. There is usually 1-2 in each deck though.
Q. What can stop Mewtwo besides another Mewtwo?
A. RDL, Mew Prime, Shaymin EX, Cobalion, Scizor Prime, Reshiram, Reshiram EX+Rocky Helmet, Darmanitan

Still, whether I think Mewtwo EX is overrated or not, it is going to define the format and make a lot of previously good decks unplayable, and I hate it for that.
Emopanda133 said:Yeah, but you're talking to a guy who has a metal deck that is 7-2 against Reshiphlosion decks and 6-0 against Reshiboar, so, try again sir.
Plus most EX decks use DCE, in other words, you can't touch Scizor.
Glaceon said:The just won't attach to it or Catcher around it. I don't think Scizor is a great counter.
Emopanda133 said:My point is that it's not as good as everyone says. Mewtwo is just like a regular deck, it's all about who sets up first. Anything can kill Mewtwo if it's not set up enough. Yes, a DCE can do forty quick damage, and yes it gets stronger every turn, but if you can build in something heavy for not a lot of damage, you can kill a Mewtwo, it's all about setup.
So catcher the Mewtwo. Problem solved.
