I can't believe Beach members would actually suggest violence as a solution. I thought the sorta people on these forums were the sorta people with more sense then that. =3 I personally dread violence as all it achieves is hurt. I mean, it may solve your problems, but is anyone actually happy by the end? The results are some bleedy people with some broken bones who still hate each other.

May I just mention fighting back is a great way to amplify the bullying. I've seen people giving back disses to bullies and it just makes me facepalm. =/

I only just turned 13, and I'm a lot more mature then half of the other people here! Deal with it the best you can without voilence, and if you need to, defend yourself... You know how to kick, so if you need to, do it... Don't start the problem... If you have a heart, you probably don't like to start conflicts... If they call you names, come back at them with brush-off-the-comment remarks, not rude ones... Act like you are having a good time when they mess with you...it's actually fun! If they are just plain rude, like hiding behind other people or overreacting and not letting you talk, give them a "Oh, seriously...that's pathetic..." look, and walk away... Adding to the conflict WON'T HELP AT ALL!!! For those people who say violence is key, he wants to avoid conflict; it's just his mentality, and I happen to have a similar one... BTW, you really shouldn't cause problems... If you get beat up or whatever, don't fight, don't be rude, just walk away... If they begin to bother you, then you can maybe do something about it, but only when it gets serious or it continues for a long time...like two months...

Yeah, that's all I have to say...so...yeah...

I'm not going to 'flame' you. I'm just disappointed that you would sacrifice your integrity for such meaningless security.
 
Why don't you stop bringing your DS and Pokemon cards to school and be a normal boy.
 
What is normal? Who is? We are all different, in some respects at least. Why can't he do what he wants? It's people like this who are screwing up this world. Greedy, "My way is best, so you do it too" kind of people. The sleezy buisnessman who only cares about himself type. I could go on and on with terrible analogies, but I will get to my point.

Do what you like to do. No matter what, people are going to bother you. I was bullied, but anything anyone tried to start was quickly ended with a point about my "opponent's" flaws, or using "big words". Stick up for yourself, is what I'm saying. It worked for me.

Ok, I have a few theories about your scenario, from what I have endured and observed regarding others. I know it may sound harsh and a little mean but it is really not intended to and intended for help.

You say you look different, and you've been bullied for 8 years. So I would assume you have changed schools in that time periods (Grade School to Middle School to High School whatever) So your looks may give your aggressors a bit of a pre-conceived notion that you're a dork or weird or whatever. And it is probably also safe to say more insults about you go on behind your back then to your face, sorry I know not comforting, but likely true.

So this means it's time to break out of that cocoon, easier said than done I know. You may have some friends right now, look at them, see if others consider them "nerdy" (I frankly don't believe in labels like this but in Middle School there are SOOOOO many clique problems going on it's not even funny, so if your in a group of "nerds" know that.) If you want the harassment to stop maybe see if there is anyone in any of your classes that doesn't completely despise or ignore you and casually try and befriend him. The best way to do this is over a long period of time, talk to him a little bit, then more, then more, then more. Invite him over for a little bit after a while, try and make a new friend who isn't bullied, so people can look at you and say, "hey he's not awful look who he's hanging out with." If your group of friends are considered "nerds" try and slowly and slowly spend a little less time with them at school. I'm not saying de-friend them, I'm not that awful. Just maybe try and get your name less associated with them. Still hang out with them on weekends and everything though.

Also watch your behavior, maybe turn shy into relaxed, then into laid back, eventually have a kind of cool personality. No I'm not saying stop being who you are just think before you speak, that's all. After a period of time it might just work, the bullying may fade.

I hope I could help a little, not trying to be mean and please don't take offense, I really didn't mean it to be, I just know how the average middle school runs :)

The written word has been causing trouble for years. If you prefer I could flesh out that thought, but it wouldn't change the reactions.
