I am having trouble a little bit with posting, I could use some help

I have a few questions about how to post indented paragraphs and etc.

First question I have is, How come when I post something indented using the spacebar, it posts as non-indented?

Second question, How do I make a signature under all my posts?

Third question, How do I reply to a comment without it posting under the reply/replies I have already made? Like how do I post a new reply I guess I am asking. Excuse me if I am asking some super obvious questions, I just joined these forums yesterday, so that should explain it. I haven't gone on any other forums.

Fourth question, Is there some post that explains most of my questions, and Tells how do the stuff I am asking about on this server?
 
You answered two of my 4 questions, but the 1st and 3rd one wasn't answered.

I'll have to look more into the server to make sure the info is already on the server.

But I am coming up with new questions like how to make an avatar, and how to get effort points, etc that I hope will get answered in this thread.

Thank you though, for responding and answering at least some of my questions.

I think for the 1st question, it doesn't indent, But I was pretty sure I saw an article that had indentations.

And also, I know you can indent somehow using tab, I accidently pressed ctrl-tab and it closed this website and brought me back to the page when I click on internet explorer lol.

A librarian did it once in front of me when I was typing a report but forgot now, could someone help me?

And on the 3rd question, what I meant was, sometimes when I start a new reply it just makes a bar and posts under the previous post I just made. I don't get why it does that only sometimes but not everytime, or never.

Does it have to do with how long the post is? And how do I start a new reply without it doing the bar then post under previous post thing?
 
The forums automatically filter out consecutive spaces just because they are unnecessary and encourage spamming. Tab alone only puts you at the next hyper link or text box, but It's not necessary. Simply using enter will suffice and make your posts look a lot more organized and interesting.

If you get a bar under your post instead of an entirely new one its because you've double posted within a short amount of time. Double Posting in general is against the rules. Use the edit button instead of making a new reply, if necessary, type out the word "edit:" in case you would like for people to know that this is information not initially posted.

The newbie guide should've helped with any avatar questions, and this thread should answer any of your questions about your posting statistics ( effort points etc.)
