I couldn't figure out where to put this... (Scans questions)

Okay, now for the question. I am a graphic designer. I make forum signatures and such. I was just wondering if I was allowed to use the pictures in the scans. I know it says no stealing the scans, I'm just wondering if I am allowed to render the Pokemon out of the picture on the card scans. The reason I'm asking is because I saw a render on PlanetRenders rendered from a scan here. Then I came here to check out the scans and it says no taking them.

You are allowed rendering the card image into your work.
