I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this question, but I just want to be sure.
In competitive play, are you allowed to mix / match evolution pokemon from different expansions?
Say, I want to evolve my Kakuna from Diamond and Pearl expansion, into a Beedrill from a black and white expansion?
Also, what about delta pokemon?
Can I evolve my delta species meowth from EX exp. into a HGSS Persian?
The only one that is obvious to me that you CANNOT evolve is trainers pokemon.
E.G. I couldn't evolve a machoke into a Machamp G
