I need adivce on what to do this year

Well, I'm hoping to get into a magnet program for law and you need to have really good grades for that. I've also been told by my teachers over and over that grades in 7th and 8th count the most. I was great in 7th, but I need to try harder this year so that I can be valedictorion (did I spell that wrong?)

actually, your grades in middle school and before mean absolutely nothing in regards to getting into colleges and the like

Sure they do, Cleveland Institute of Art is one of them who look at Middle School Grades

If it's just staying in shape then just do excersise, a jog every morning or just playing a sport with freinds or a pet. Doesn't always have to be school, unless you really wan that graduation award.

Whatever makes you happy. I'm so much happier playing Pokemon then doing most anything else so that's what I do. That's what's most important in life anyway, to be happy.

Actually you kind of do. To get into a really good college like Yale or Harvard you need to be the best.

It’s what you do with the knowledge that matters. If all you do is study JUST to get those good grades. Then where will you be in life? If all you do is study for the ‘A’ and then forget about the material or how to apply it in real life, it’s just a waste of time.

Hun, pokemon wont get you into yale or some other rich high scool. Pokemon is super fun and so is school. if you could find a way so that your education and your pokemon fun dont interfere, its like a win-win situation. But there is always a time when one has to be taken out of your schedule, and honestly, it should be pokemon. :) hope you find the wisest deciscion and put it to good use!

I think that you should do whatever you want to do. It's not our life, but I would like to make a suggestion.

Academics are your biggest priority, if you want to go to Collge and get a job.
Sports are good for backup on academics. Taking a sport in High School will get Colleges to recognize you better and boost your chances of getting into a good University.
Pokemon Tournaments, though fun (not to me, but to you), won't benefit you much through your life.

That's just what I think, but like I said, it's your life and your choice.
