In Strategy begins at home they showed ash in a flashback and there was this man standing next to ash doing something i think patting a ponyta so i think that might be him, that or Ho-oh lol.

This is one of those questions that may never be answered. I don't think Ash really needs to find out who is father is because he needs to grow up on his own.
If they do decide to leak who Ash's father is and what he looks like, the finale of the anime might be the place to throw it out there. But, even how the quality of the anime is at rock bottom currently, I don't see it ending anytime soon.

so just because they hang out a lot that means ash is prof oak's son
delia ketchum is like an intern(i think) shes helping him out and i think shes studying under him(no pervy pun intended). shes with him all the time because they are friend who both live in pallet town and are both interested in ash's life(ash helping oak out with the dex and being delia's son)they also show no signs of any relationship deeper then just being friends

This thread really has no value for discussion. There really is no answer either. First of all, it's a kids show so they want to focus on the kids in the show instead of the adults. There could be millions of reasons why, and they probably will never even show him. Anyways, there's not much of a point to this thread.
