Hey everyone. :3
I just wanna know how my artwork is. :p
Please tell me if I draw good or not, and, if you want, critique it please. :D
I don't draw this good anymore, cause I havent touched a pencil since summer started, but yeah, please tell me how I draw. :3
(I based these off of my friends in school cause they requested a poke-human of themselves. :O)

I don't have a scanner, so I used my phone to take the pictures, So leafeon is bigger than that, but that's all I could get. He's laying down.

EDIT: My mom doesnt have her scanner anymore. :( So I cant scan these.

You should get a scanner. Or a better phone to take pictures with. Those pics are really small.

They're small, but sweet! A good scanner and free editing software (anything other than MS Paint will do) can get your art looking professional. That's all I suggest. Other than that, great work!

I agree with XieRH. You should either get a scanner, or find one you can use freely (like at a friend or relative's home if possible...also, I find a jump-drive would help in such a situation). They're not too bad really, it's just that the small-ish size and awkward lighting offset the appearance by a lot to me...

Also, I think there was an actual term for the "Poke-human" thing. 'Gijinka' comes to mind, but I wasn't sure if that was to describe human-Pokemon or just people dressed up to look vaguely like Pokemon characters...

its people dressed up to look vaguely like things that arent human to begin with... gijinka is a form of anthropomorphism

The Japanese word for a combination of an animal and human is a neko, I believe.

'Neko' is probably it, Pokevortex, but I also recall another thing called 'kemono' that had a lot of references to nekos as cat/human characters in some Japanese manga/anime. I'm just not sure because I've heard a lot of terms tossed around to describe different types of characters based on Japanese series, but a lot of the same terms were also used to describe different variations of them.

@XieRH: When I get to my mom's house later next week, I'll be able to use a scanner and then I'll change those pics with the scanned ones.
@POKEVORTEX: Thanks! :D And I used to have photoshop, but my old computer had a virus (system tool is what it was called) and I couldnt get rid of it, so now I have a new one. In this one I think all I have is PAINT.Net. :O Would that work?
@AnimeUSA: Thanks! :D
@Shadow Arceus: Yeah I know, I was gonna add fingers, but I couldn't get it right. (Hands are the only thing I can never get right. :O) but thanks for the criticism. :) I'll practice on my hands. :3

and Yes, Neko is cat, gijinka is humanoid and anthropomorphism, so they can be used to describe pokemon humans. :D (looked it up :p)

Paint.NET is fine. It's what I use. You can see examples if my Paint.NET stuff on my deviantART in my signature. And you're right about neko. I saw it in a manga book showing a human cat, and the phrasing mislead me. :D

Wow, I like your pokemon drawings. :D they're good. :)
And, alright, I will try making stuff on Paint.Net. :D

I think that scanners are definitely cool, along with programs such as photoshop or paint.net.

Your anatomy could use some work, sometimes the muscles look more awkward rather than realistic. The necks may be a bit too thick...beyond that, there are only tiny details.

@aggiegwyn: Yeah, I'm not really good with anything except for the face:)P), and even then i sometimes mess up. XD but i can only do faces because that's what I first learned how to do. :) I'm still learning how to use detail in clothing and body parts. I used to be able to do the body, but then I didn't draw a body in a long time, so now i'm not that good at it. :p

Just saying, Full Backgrounds... I haven't done before, so that was a first for me in these drawings. :D But I think I spent more time doing the background than I did on the people themselves.
