BW/BW2 Ideas to make Pokemon Games faster.

The one thing I don't like about Pokemon Games are how they're so slow in some places. And I have some ideas to make it faster, don't be afraid to add your own ideas!

Weather-Weather in Pokemon games are cool, but in Pokemon Battles it stinks that when the turns end it says "It's raining" and rain appears for like 2 seconds or "The sunlight is bright" and sunlight appears for 2 seconds. I think it should rain/hail/sandstorm/whatever while you are battling, so that you won't waste 2-4 extra seconds every turn when there's weather.

HP- Anyone else hate when they are facing a tank, when they finally kill it, the HP bar takes so long to empty. I think that no matter what Pokemon you kill, the HP bar should go down faster. Because it's annoying when the HP bar takes so slow to finish you could get bored to death by just watching it go down. Many players can be happy with this when battling a Pokemon with High HP.

HM Actions-I don't think anyone else likes when their Pokemon uses a HM and they always have to wait for some kind of little Cutscene
of your Pokemon, and then the Pokemon using the HM. There should be some kind of option if the Cutscene with the Pokemon Sprite should show or not.

Just my ideas on how Pokemon Games should be faster.
 
well a screenshot showing the select battle moves had a thing in the corner showing the weather, so maybe that will be used instead of the end-turn weather effects

Srry if this confuses anyone, I'm not good at explaining things...
 
I don't think waiting an extra 2 seconds is all that bad. The HM animations are kinda irritating, but I can live with it.

I think they got rid of the weather scenario if both pokemon are un-affected thanks to the new weather indicator. (And if one pokemon is affected, it says the usual "BlahBlah has been Buffeted by BlahBlah")
I'm not 100% positive, correct me if I'm wrong. :)
 
I think that instead of all the Pokemon each being buffeted/pelted/etc., that every Pokemon that would take damage would be included in one piece of battle dialogue.

Ex: "Pikachu and Snorlax are pelted by hail/buffeted by the sandstorm!" and they would then take damage at the same time.

Instead of: "Snorlax is pelted by hail/buffeted by the sandstorm!" then it takes its damage. "Pikachu is pelted by hail/buffeted by the sandstorm!" then it takes its damage.
 
I too would lie Rain etc. to Play while battling. They might as well do it while they change up battle scenes!
Though your other 2 reasons aren't really necessary. As Thy to me IMO are not annoying.

Yes, possibly a steady drizzle for normal rain and lightning and thunder with more intense rain.
 
Being able to run-surf. Surfing took forever in the D/P/Pt games, and it would make the games a lot faster. I kind of like the cut-scenes for HM's.

The idea of the weather showing constantly intrigues me. Meaning, at all times during the battle on the top screen.

now THATS a good idea. 'Intense rain' as a new weather condition. Would make Zekrom a hella lot more interesting. As for me I would like the HM sprites to be more dynamic like when you surf, the overworld sprite is the actual pokemon, not a piece of shadowed water.
 
it would be cool if there was random rain and not always raining on specific routes

that would give the weather indicator more meaning.
 
I think the HP bar adds a little tension to both you and your opponent and i would like the constant rain/hail/sandstorm/

Lol if U have wifi it connects too the weather channel and gives u your local forcast in the game

the first two things that you said, I COULDNT AGGREE MORE! i have always hated how if i run into a pokemon in a rainy or snowy of foggy route in dppt and the desert route in rse it wastes like 3 seconds of my time telling my about the weather when i already knew that when i walked into the route in the first place! its always annoyed me when i kill a blissey or some other high hp pokemon that it takes forever for its hp bar to go down. i never really had a problem with the cutscene

But what if you surf on a Wailord?? or a Marill?? I think the shadowy sprite thing should stay the same.

On topic: I do want faster surfing. Absolutey
