Pokemon In which generation were you introduced to Pokemon?

Gen 3, my first game being Blue Rescue Team. I got it for X-Mas '06 I think. Later when we went to Chicago on a giant road trip in spring break and I got FireRed just before we left. Then I finally got Diamond when it came out in '07.
 
Gen 1, thanks to my brothers. xD
They had Red and Blue which I played sometimes, and a few years later I got my own Pokémon Yellow for Christmas.
