Infernape Deck (Unlimited)

States is this weekend, and out of nostalgia, I wanted to recreate the deck I ran for my first states. I was fairly new back then, and looking back, there was a lot I could have done to make the deck better (for example, taking out Typhlosion HGSS (not prime)), but despite that, I somehow managed to go 3-3. Here's what I've been able to remember and thus improve upon; It's not perfect (been thinking about Fliptini) and I'd appreciate any advice you could give:

Pokemon(20)
3 Chimchar (Pl 70)
2 Monferno(Pl 56 & Md 41)
3 Infernape (2x Pl 31 & 1x Sf 3)
1 Infernape Lv X
2 Vulpix (Pl 102)
2 Ninetales (HGSS)
1 Heatran (Ar 3)
1 Heatran Lv X
2 Spiritomb (Ar 32)
1 Uxie (La 43)

Trainers(21)
3 Sage's
3 Collector
3 Rare Candy
3 Communication
2 Juniper
2 Quick Ball
2 Premier Ball
1 Seeker
1 Luxury Ball
1 Switch
1 Memory Berry
1 Expert Belt

16 {R}

The idea of the deck was to start out with either Spiritomb and gett out the Infernapes, or to start with Vulpix and use Reheat to discard 2 {R} and draw 4. Once you got an Infernape out, you could begin to use Rushing Flames which let you flip coins for each {R} attached to all your Pokemon as you wanted to discard. 80 x the number of heads. Since it allowed you to reattach 2 to your active, Heatran Lv X ensured you could at least flip 2 every turn. Once you had 8 {R} in the discard, you could use Infernape Lv X's attack for 150 (this was a lot more significant before the EX's) and shuffle those 8 {R} back into your deck. That's the gist of it.

Pretty sure this is not a legal deck since you have 3 Infernape and 3 Infernape Lv.X.

^ That is true

Also, Uxie is way better draw than Ninetales. I would cut a 1-1 tales for 2 more uxie and something else, maybe a BTS

Its not; I put in the title "Unlimited".

I agree, but I like being able to put that extra energy or 2 in the discard. Although, Burning Head becomes a lot more effective after you use Flare Up. I've literally gotten to where all the cards left in my deck were fire energies. And mysteriously, my BTS's have dissappeared. In the event that I find them, how many should I put in and how should that affect my Infernape lines and my candy count?

I am prettty sure Unlimited means you can use any card ever made that is not banned.

If by "banned" you mean fake cards that the Pokemon company that has not made, then yes. If by "banned" you mean the cards that have been rotated then no. I'm pretty sure that unlimited means that you can use every card ever released by the Pokemon company.

By banned I mean cards like Anchient Mew and Birthday Pikachu. And you can never have 3 Infernapes and 3 infernape Lv X in a deck, right?

The only cards I know of that were banned were those 2, and the Sneasel that was reprinted in UD. The Mew was banned cause no one could read its effect, the birthday pikachu because it was easy to lie about your birthday, and the Sneasel was just plain awesome.

Also, the rule specifically states that you can only run 4 Pokemon with the same name. You can run 4 Mewtwo and 4 Mewtwo EX. (I think you can even run 4 Mewtwo Ex and 4 Mewtwo EX.) You can't run 4 Yanmega and 4 Yanmega Prime because the card doesnt say "Yanmega Prime", just "Yanmega". Correct me if Im wrong.

You can only run 2-2 Infernape LV. X, 2-1, 1-1, 1-2, 0-1, 1-0. You get my idea. You can only have 4 total of a LV.X.

There were a few more, but Infinity is right.

Ok, so should I run 2-2? Or was there a card that got Lv X's out of the discard?

Premier Ball gets lvX's out of the deck and the discard pile. (IIRC)

There is also Pokemon Rescue, but that gives up the searching iot out part to get any pokemon from the discard.
