Does anyone else here think that they are over-priced and under-featured (I'm talking about the iPod classic)? Or am I the only one?

I donno.....I have owned an Ipod for the past 4 years (first with the nano now with the old Video) and I love it....iTunes is horrible, I'll give you that. As far as the iPod itself, I find it completly worth its value on the market today. It provides easy music, gaming, and movies on the go....I also am a big fan of the podcasts....

If you like music enough to the point you'll fill it up, by all means get one.....if you only like a few songs then I'd suggest either a smaller iPod or a different, cheaper mp3/mp4 player.

For the iPod Touch - definitely. For others ... not really. Shuffle for example is quite cheap. Then Classic has real Hard Disk, unlike other that use SSD. That makes it slower, but it has much more space (HD not SSD).

I don't know, I got mine as a present and have no idea as to what the price is ^^
But I don't really care about the features, heck it still plays music and this is why you got it in the first please ;]

Well, if you love music, it's worth it. But if you won't use it, why bother buying it?.
Well, I have an Ipod Shuffle, and I always use it. The classic is not underfeatured, if you want to buy something cheaper than the other softwares, then buy it. If you don't need more than its total MB/GB, then buy it, if you don't like having pictures or videos in it, just for the sake of music, then buy it.
