Is Ho oh legend good in reshiboar?

I find Ho oh legend to be good in reshi boar' Ho oh legend hase a lot more hp then reshiram with indigo plateau out as the stadium card. And Ho oh legend cant be one shouted with zoroak witch reshiram can be one shouted with zoroak with a special dark energy attached to zoroak.

Problem with Ho-oh is that your opponent takes 2 prizes, and takes more energy for less damage. I could see it as a 1-1 line.
 
Your oppoent dosent take two prizez with Ho oh legend or lugia legend they didnt do that untill unleashed came out. I think this would be best as a 1-1 line and i would also add in some rescue energys.
 
RDL is better in a ReshiBoar than Ho-oh legend. More damage, more prizes pulled, and more type coverage. And for the "your opponent takes 2 prizes" argument against RDL, you should only use RDL as a clean-up, getting your last 2 prizes.

yea, i like that better than Ho-oh. I was gonna suggest ERL, but he'll be obsolete once pixies are rotated out :(
 
Well ashinto i think your right about that and raikou and enti does have free retreat. The only down side to raikou and enti is you take two prizez and its weak two type's.

And be sure to have some plus powers in your deck so you can one shout other pokemon with raikou and enti.
 
Entei-Raikou would be more consistant, IMO. 80 Spread to everything with powers on it. It won't OHKO your Emboar anyways, it will just hit all your opponent's random stuff on the bench. And Detonation Spin for 90 for only the cost of {R}{C} is pretty nice too. AS is the free retreat. That would be more consistant, IMO.
 
I don't think I would like Ho-Oh in Reshiboar, you would have to run some support like Legend Box to make things more consistent. Also, it does less damage for more energy. Even though you can easily recharge it with Emboar, if one is prized, that wouldn't be fun, and Azelf is gonna be rotated out soon.

Ho-Oh isn't really worth running in this deck. The only thing Ho-Oh gives is more HP, which is useless in Reshiboar because you recover quickly enough to keep swarming your opponent after Reshiram gets KO'ed. If you really want to run a LEGEND, then ERl or RDl are your best bets. While yeah, they both have two weaknesses, ERl is weak to Donphan, in which if you are against Donphan, then you just don't play it. ERl's other weakness is Kingdra or Blastgatr, which Reshiram will already have a tough time against. For RDl, Psychic weakness is no problem, and if you see a Cinccino or Afro Bull, just don't play RDl until you bait it out.

No but seriously, if you play ERL, you won't be doing a lot of damage because of the lack of Pokemon who has Pokepowers. (we are talking about HGSS-ON, right? if not ignore what I said)

About Hoho, why not? It is pretty good. Your opponent only takes a prize so...

No doubt Rdl is good but it hase a problem with zoroark. But Ho oh legend or erl dosent have this problem.

If you did play indigo plateau with Rdl it would stop it from being one shouted by zoroark.
 
RDL has more power behind it. It is the better choice because with 150 HP, you should be able to get 4 prizes out of it. With a net gain of 2 prizes, the extra 2 should be easy pickings for your Reshiram. With ERL, the the only thing you really kill is Uxie. Now (slightly off topic), if you tech in a Lucario GL, that increases your chance a little bit with Kingdra and Gyarados. But in my experience RDL eats them for breakfast, so either way RDL is your better choice.
