The 'Charizard' base set edition of the Heart Gold Soul Silver trading card collection in the sense of rarity?

Every site I'm on, it seems like everybody is looking for this card ( incl. me :D )

I got my first Jumpluff traditional holo in the 'Ampharos' booster pack a couple of weeks ago, and then got the Jumpluff reverse holo in the Donophan booster pack a couple of days ago.

So yeah.. just wondering.

That's not a sentence. It's a jumble of prepositional phrases. Please rephrase the question so someone can answer it.

He meant "Is the HGSS Jumpluff the 'Charizard' base set edition of the Heart Gold Soul Silver trading card collection in the sense of rarity?" Don't be a jerk, dude. And guy from canada, I suppose you could say that. Not everyone is lookin for it, but a lot of people are.

Well, I didn't really understand what he was asking.

Technically, because Jumpluff and Charizard are both holo rares, they have relatively equal rarity. Jumpluff has a higher value to people who play the game due to being a tier 1 deck

You must have just stumbled in here and completely missed the title :D, AND thanks peetzaman for clearing that up.

Depends what you mean by rarity. In terms of raw numbers, there's a ton more Jumpluffs circulating on the market, which would make it not really "rare" in the supply/collector sense. In terms of being demanded, yes, it's definitely one of the chase cards of HG/SS, as the demand for it is quite profound over most of the other cards in the set.

I don't think me meant to be jerky. He just couldn't understand the question. And, the question is hard to read, because the main point of the question is in the title. That is confusing. Next time, just post the question in full, because I, nor FJM could understand the question. And peetzaman, give him a break. Maybe FJM didn't phrase his question right, and now you're being the jerk, because you were standing up for bad phrasing. Let's all just be friends!:D

Yes, we should all just be friends. I guess this problem was just caused by the fact that tone doesn't carry through text. Also, Dichromate said it a lot better than I did at answering the question.

Yeah... that's where the main point should be. That's why it's a 'title'.

Lol... wasn't bad phrasing at all. You're being a jerk for saying that :D

I like the being friends part better though :p

Um, yeah. I was bad phrasing, or else nobody would mention that. :(

The main point should be in the post, not the title. You shouldn't carry on a sentance from the title because it's hard to read. I'm not trying to be a jerk, Im just making a point.
If tones could be carried through on posts, this would all go away. I'm willing to extend the olive branch and agree to disagree. And yes, we should all be friends.:)

The main reason that people are looking for this card is not for rarity reasons, its because of Jumpluff decks, it is one of the best decks in the format right now, rarity wise it should be as rare as all the other holo cards in HGSS

Also, just FYI, you mention pulling one in an Ampharos pack and one in a Donphan pack, but in case you dudn't know, the pack art has nothing to do with the cards inside (with the exception of Sumpreme Victors: GO FOR THE GARCHOMP!!!).

From one Canadian to another, get your hands on some Pluffs - they're gonna be around for a while.

Base set Charizard is different than Jumpluff in that it was extremely unplayable, but was everyone's favourite Pokemon and had high damage output. The game has shifted since to bring value to playable cards like Luxray GL Lv. X (which is the highest valued card in the format right now).

this is a very inaccurate statement, I'm yet to pull anything good out of the SV Garchomp packs. But as for HG/SS all 3 of my alphs have come out of Lugia
