BW/BW2 Isshu Region is based on Chugoku?

Put up whatever argument you will i will never believe it and it will never be America.
You just admitted you won't be even open for a discussion. With that said, why do you even come here?

I don't think gamefreak would go with another place to base it off then rather sticking with their usual japan. Plus i don't like the idea.
You have to realize that eventually the areas in Japan would've been all used, whether it's now or in a few years. GameFreak has to move to a different country eventually.

Also, we don't care if you don't like the idea. That's just your opinion. ''I don't like the idea that Pokabu is based on a pig.'' Does that make it a monkey now? No. I'm not very fond of GameFreak's choice either, but I won't be willfully ignorant.

Couldn't it be combined of shanghai and America.
Again, is this idea based on the fact that it actually represents both (also why would GameFreak ever combine two? One is enough) or is it just you not willing to accept that Isshu is based on New York alone?

Like said before, if you are so surely convinced it's not New York I want you to debunk the picture I posted and give us evidence why it should be any other place apart from New York. No video spamming or any other links please, just your own words.

Uh, if you're smart enough to figure out. CHUGOKU is the JAPANESE name for CHINA. -.-''
And so is it for a region in Japan.

China is 中国 (Chūgoku) in Japanese. The region Chugoku is 中国地方 (Chūgoku chihō) in Japanese, but 地方 (chihō) just means region or area. So in order to avoid any misunderstandings, just call them China and Chugoku.

Okay i will look at your points

1. On the isshu map there are two small islands to the bottom left near new york there is one. On the bottom right of the isshu map there is one island and 5 or os little clusters of islands where that sort of resembles the new york counterpart map the big island on the bottom right of the new york map doesn't look like the isshu island so their is a small resemblance there.
2. Yes they are both cities near the bottom they aren't the only places that have cities near the bottom of a place although it does bear a small resemblance to manhattan.
3. I don't know where but someone showed a picture of a place in asia that had a bridge that better resembles sky arrow bridge because that bridge in asia has that little swirl near the end like sky arrow and that new york bridge doesn't have the same dual tower things along the bridge.
4. No resemblance.
5. Central park last time i checked isn't circular with a lake surrounding a bit of grass land
6. Maybe it is sort of a swampy place maybe
7. Yes a unique resemblance.
8. Yes but in the isshu map the river goes through the middle isshu block whereas the new york one the river just splits the middle block from the right side of the map.
9. Sorry have to ask, are you kidding me?

Let me add my points.

1. Where is the castle that has two colours and the cave near the castle?
2. Where are the mountains?
3. Wheres the desert?
4. Wheres that Pokemon league thing at the top right thing on the map?
5. Wheres the lighthouse?
6. Wheres the lake on the left hand side with the bridge over it?
7. Wheres the town with the 100 year old train line?
8. Wheres the forrest on the left near the bridge?
9. Wheres the cave above the town with the 100 ear old train line?

Are you actually being serious? Isshu is based on New York. Isshu isn't the same as New York. See the difference?

Anyway, if you're going to point out every single detail on the Isshu map you may ask as well why there are no Minezumis and Koromoris in New York. Like I said before, they aren't the same, Isshu is just based of New York.

Does that mean that Hoenn isn't based of Kyushu then? Kyushu has no desert, there is no ice cave on Kyushu, neither there is a cycling road nor a jungle.

You mentioned the bridge in Shanghai, well even though I bet there are more bridges with a curve at the end, I highly doubt Shanghai represents Isshu more. Actually, about the island thing, in New York, there are 2 islands on the left and a big one on the right, and by zooming in you can see there are indeed small islands on the right side of the island on the right, but those small details don't really matter.

About 9, yes I was serious, the desert might be a reference to the Twin Towers. After the fall of the twin towers the whole area was also a desert of rubbish. Of course by now all cleaned up and new buildings have been build there..

Anyway, even though your miserable try to debunk this idea, New York still the most convincing. Again I will ask you where you think it's based off?

Oh my gosh you guys asked me why and i gave you a list, i will tell you one thing i don't know where it could be based off couldn't it be because it's a far away region be based on nothing. Maybe they thought of it themselves maybe they got a few things from different continents like a desert from africa city of Manhattan for america mountains of china or wherever and the bridge. Why would they have the desert for ground zero that would be silly. Look i'm not deaf, dumb nor blind i can see your reasons but i just doubt it will all be based off of new york, the idea is blatantly hokum so for the last mind-numbing time i will not agree until it's confirmed.

...
Can't we just say it's based on..... London and leave it alone? It doesn't matter where it's based off.

Yay London!, Anyway yeah I agree with you, either just wait until it is confirmed or just think whatever you want it to be and let eveyone else think whatever they want it to be....

lmao, you're still ignoring my question, don't you? See the last phrase from my previous post.

Either way you're trolling or just ignorant. I won't discuss with you anymore, since whatever will be revealed and no matter what we'll show you, you keep going on ignoring all the evidence.

I read your last question i don't know where else and just to stop you from starting a flame war lets leave it for the final time.

How about this?
isshu2.jpg

The desert could be based on the Songze Ancient Cultural Site. Nanjing could also be the black/white city considering it being one of China's ancient capital and also a modern metropolis.

Even though, and I admit that, you have found some interesting things, most of Isshu's cities and place are just connected to a random city in real life. When erasing all the random lines and circles, there's not much left of it.

And things like Shanghai's actual location doesn't really match with Hiun City. Okay there is an airport, albeit at the wrong side of the mountain.

But yes, the mountains on the left do match, since New York doesn't have any mountains.

actually a region is based on one place and one place only. the cities are what matter. in every region the cities line up with real world cities in japan. they dont just pick a place and start from there. they make places, landmarks, monuments, etc more pokemon like. ie the old chateau, lost tower, snowpoint city and sunnyshore. oh and it also doesnt matter where isshu is based of.

im thinking that isshu is a combination of NYC and Shanghai, but if its only one real world place, then its NYC all the way
