BW/BW2 Isshus desert part?

That green dot in the desert isn't going to be a town with a gym or any town at all. Maybe some ruins, I believe.
 
The desert will be cool. I liked to one in Gen 3 and its cool to see that terrain again. Hopefully there will lots of cool puzzles too.
 
Yeah, Shinx is def. not Sphinx based despite it's English name and evo names (Luxor is a city in Egypt)

But a sphinx based pokemon would be awesome, it could be Rock/Psychic if it's based on the sphinx statue, or Ground/Psychic if based on the creature.

And Lucario is slightly reminiscent of Anubis, but not enough. He is jackal based though, definitely. Either way, they could make a new Anubis/jackal for this game and make it a dark type.

I also just thought of a snake based Pokemon based on Apep, the evil snake god. It could be Dark/Poison (a combo I love since it's immune to psychic)
 
OK, so for Egyptian based Pokemon, we can have: Egyptian goddess Bastet based Pokemon, scarab beetle Pokemon, a pyramid based camel Pokemon, mummy Pokemon, a sphinx Pokemon, and a locust. Lol, if all these Pokemon really are created, then they might have to make some sort of pyramid within the desert for some of the other Pokemon. xD
 
Yeah, actually there should be a pyramid with multiple levels in addition to the outside desert.

If there was a gym, it could be more like a Pharaoh's palace rather then a pyramid like I originally said.

Too late for speculating on Aroe thinking she's a archeologist.
I'm sure it's been proven that she's a cook. The apron, and Dento being a waiter. u_u

But that would be awesome for there to be a Egyptian palace/pyramid in the desert where you can battle others. And someone could give you an egg of a baby version of the Bastet goddess Pokemon (in contrast to Riolu, ofc).
 
i want to see a scarab, snake, and anubis jackal in the desert, and the scarab sounds the most likely

Huh? Who said anything about Aroe? I'm not even sure who that is, I don't really pay attention to the human characters LOL

But yeah, the egg is a nice idea. In fact, Bastet could be Dark/Fighting. 4x weak to bug but who cares, she'd be immune to psychic :3 She could be another Steel/Fighting too, because I mean honestly, why is Lucario even steel? If he can be a steel type without even looking remotely metallic, then anything can >>

Or she could be Dark/Psychic as well.

Well, honestly I don't blame you. The human characters aren't all that interesting.

Anyways, the Bastet Pokemon would be Dark/Fighting. That sounds pretty good. :3 I would prefer Fighting/Steel just to make it more obvious that she's an opposite to Lucario. Maybe even Dark/Steel. :0
This is kinda fun to speculate. Even though someone's already made a Bastet goddess Pokemon, I feel like making one, myself. xD
Oh, and apparently Lucario's a Steel-type because of the simple little spikes it has on its chest and forepaws. >.>

Lol, Aroe is a new trainer (supposedly a Gym Leader), and she's dressed like a cook (IMO). And Dento's this waiter guy.

Hmm, it looks much too similar too Lucario IMO, but not too bad I guess.

I'd like something with more of a classical Egyptian vibe, a black/gold color scheme, and that looks unquestionably like a cat.
 
YAY! more ruins to explore then to almost get smoshed by! YAY! lol i thought that in Emerald with the fossil ruins that you would be timed to get out lol That would be funny haha

Maybe I should give it a shot. I just hope Game Freak themselves makes a cat goddess Pokemon. I doubt they will, but I would love it. <3

EDIT: Oh yeah, the mini desert in R/S/E.
I laugh EVERY TIME I get a fossil. Mainly because I always think, "just take both of them, you idiot!", and the way the rejected fossil continuously blinks until it vanishes. xDD

Thats an excellent Remark.An ancient sarcophagus Only found within Ruins.Thats a pretty decent idea.Good idea.

I wish there is really an oasis or pyramid in the desert area. And hopefully a new camel pokemon too.


about the oasis, it would appear only at times (just like mirage island)

and there is a rare pokemon there.

If they do that, hopefully they wont make it useless like Wynaut.....
